This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned Medical Malpractice Paralegal to join a high-caliber trial team known for taking on complex, high-stakes matters. This role is ideal for a senior-level litigation professional who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment and is confident supporting medical negligence cases from intake and pre-suit through discovery, motion practice, expert coordination, and trial preparation. Key Responsibilities • Provide comprehensive litigation support to attorneys handling complex medical malpractice and medical negligence matters., • Draft, review, and file pleadings, discovery, motions, correspondence, subpoenas, and other litigation documents., • Obtain, organize, analyze, and summarize large volumes of medical records, case materials, and supporting documentation., • Prepare medical chronologies, case timelines, deposition summaries, trial binders, exhibit lists, and pre-trial materials., • Coordinate with medical experts, clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and other litigation stakeholders., • Manage case deadlines, calendars, discovery timelines, hearings, depositions, and trial preparation workflow., • Support attorneys through all phases of litigation, including pre-suit investigation, discovery, mediation, hearings, and trial. Qualifications • 10+ years of paralegal experience, with a strong focus on medical malpractice litigation., • Plaintiff-side litigation experience is strongly preferred., • Deep understanding of Florida medical malpractice law, civil procedure, court filings, discovery rules, and litigation deadlines., • Proven experience supporting complex cases through pre-suit, discovery, motion practice, expert coordination, and trial., • Advanced ability to review, organize, summarize, and interpret medical records and case documents., • Strong drafting skills, including pleadings, discovery, motions, correspondence, and trial-related materials., • Highly organized, detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and comfortable managing multiple complex matters at once., • Professional communication skills and the ability to interact confidently with clients, experts, attorneys, and opposing counsel., • Must be able to work fully onsite in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
