Job DescriptionDescription: SUMMARY Provides Supported Employment services to individuals enrolled in the Bridgeways Employment Services Program, including regular outreach in the individual’s community. Assists referred individuals in development of treatment/recovery plan, vocational assessment, resume’, job carving, job development, internet job searches, interview skills, obtaining and maintaining employment consistent with plan. Addresses perceived barriers to employment and increased behavioral health symptomology related to stress while collaborating for successful job placement and job retention Position: Full-time Pay: $27.65 - $29.70/ hour ' Benefits: Our benefit programs have been curated to provide employees with options and comprehensive coverage including: • Generous Paid Time Off -- New Employees accrue up to 31 paid days off, including 15 flexible use PTO days, 10 paid holidays, 2 personal days, as well as the final week of the year., • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance with medical premiums starting as low as $18 biweekly (must work 30+ hrs/week), • Optional Life Critical Illness, Illness, and Pet Insurance available., • Mental health coverage through Teledoc Mental Health includes both therapists and psychiatrists., • Roadside Assistance for all employees., • Long Term Disability Insurance (must work 30+ hrs/week), • Teledoc Health Coverage (if working <30 hrs/week), • Understands and practices safekeeping of client protected health information per Bridgeways’ HIPAA policies and procedures., • Maintain a reliable attendance record and adhere to scheduling requirements based on business and clients’ needs., • Assesses referred clients’ employment interests, skills, abilities, preferences, goals, and barriers to employment at time of admission to the Employment Services Program, and on an ongoing basis, utilizing background information and work experiences., • Assist clients in understanding the impact of employment on benefits, and where to find assistance as needed., • Creates an individual treatment/recovery plan with the individual, in collaboration with the referring person/agency and others identified as important as natural supports, as requested by the individual., • Provides services consistent with the practice and principles of IPS, Individual Placement Services., • Works closely with Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) and other local employment service systems. Under DVR contract, Bridgeways Employment Specialist/Case Manager facilitates Community Based Assessments (CBAs) as well as Job Placement and Job Retention services for DVR customers., • Assists the individual in job readiness, job development, and job search activities directed toward jobs that are consistent with their needs, interests, and preferences. Completes, in collaboration with the individual, a vocational assessment, resume’, internet job searches, interview skills, mock interviews and if requested, support during interviews at potential employers., • Develops job opportunities with community employers and provides consultation to employers, assisting with coordination, communication, and education about working with employees with disabilities., • Provides education and support to employers regarding working with individuals with disabilities. This may include information about behavioral health, Americans with Disability Act, how to provide accommodation, and how to research potential financial incentives for participating in the program., • May include supporting individuals through applying, interviewing and retaining employment at Bridgeways as a Mission Focused employee, or in another community based, competitive job., • Provides ongoing support, education, triage, and consultation to Bridgeways staff regarding an individual’s employment goals, social service needs, and support with benefit planning., • Collaborates care with referring person/agency to coordinate and integrate employment services into behavioral health treatment. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE • Bilingual ability may be beneficial, but not essential., • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, or governmental regulations., • Ability to write business correspondence., • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, listening skills, organization, and problem-solving skills., • Able to be creative, flexible, dependable, and consistently present a positive attitude, demeanor, and professional appearance., • Skill and ability in establishing trusting, working relationships with persons living with disability, respecting individual rights and preferences., • Ability and skill in using principles of sales and marketing when searching for community job opportunities for individuals., • Skill and ability in establishing strong working relationships with community employers, DVR, Social Security, and other social service agencies., • Able to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the individual., • Requirement to pass a Background check in accordance with Customer Guidelines and Requirements., • Must be authorized to work in the United States. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. • In an 8-hour workday, an employee always talks/hears; usually is walking and standing with occasional sitting, driving, and rarely stooping, kneeling or crouching., • An employee’s job requires occasional use of a standard and cellular telephone, viewing computer/monitor and typing, also with occasional handwriting., • Occasionally lifts weights varying from 5 pounds to 10 pounds and occasionally lifts objects from 29”-65”. The employee always works in a moderate noise environment with occasional loud noise exposure.
