Job DescriptionSalary: $80k - $90k Salary Job Overview The Senior Program Manager oversees all agency programs within the Youth, Parenting, and Family & Marriage divisions, ensuring compliance with county, state, and federal regulations, as well as the requirements of funders, foundations, and unrestricted sources. This position provides leadership and support to all Program Managers and program administrative staff. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), the Senior Program Manager is responsible for overseeing Program staff and implementation, reporting, data analysis, staff training, and coordination of cross-departmental meetings. This role requires a detail-oriented and highly collaborative leader capable of planning, implementing, and monitoring program initiatives through completion. The Senior Program Manager will also assist in budget preparation and review, contribute to the implementation of the agencys strategic plan, and support the development and submission of grant applications. The ideal candidate is innovative, organized, flexible, and dependable, with a strong commitment to program excellence and continuous improvement. Additional Responsibilities and Duties • Develop and oversee an effective plan of action for all agency programs, including Youth, Parenting, and Family & Marriage, from inception to completion, ensuring timelines, objectives, and deliverables are consistently met., • Ensure curriculum fidelity, program quality, and compliance with all applicable federal, state, and county regulations, as well as funder and foundation requirements., • Implement and monitor staff trainings to meet grant and funding guidelines and maintain compliance with state and federal standards, including child protection and safety requirements., • Provide leadership and supervision to all Program Managers and support staff, ensuring programs and teams are managed effectively, performance expectations are met, and staff receive coaching, professional development, and support., • Conduct Level 10 team meetings with Program Managers and ensure that all direct reports meet consistently with their site teams to promote productivity, communication, and client satisfaction., • Oversee data collection processes and systems across all program divisions; ensure data accuracy, timeliness, and consistency for reporting, evaluation, and decision-making purposes., • Track, analyze, and compile program performance data and KPIs; evaluate outcomes and present findings, trends, and recommendations to the COO and Executive team., • Collaborate with the Finance Department to develop, review, and monitor program budgets; ensure that all spending aligns with funder requirements and agency priorities and that funds are used in a timely, compliant manner., • Support the COO and CEO with grant development activities, including data gathering, proposal writing, timely submission of grant applications, and identifying new funding opportunities for youth and parent development programs., • Lead and monitor the timely completion of re-application deadlines, continuation applications, and grant renewals to ensure ongoing program funding., • Provide strategic vision and leadership to Program Managers and support staff, fostering innovation, problem-solving, and high-quality service delivery across all programs., • Develop and implement programmatic systems and processes that drive efficiency, productivity, and program impact., • Assess and manage programmatic risks while ensuring alignment with BSIs mission and strategic plan., • Collaborate with the Communications and Marketing Team to increase awareness of BSI programs through internal and external messaging, social media, community outreach and establish community partnerships., • Build and maintain strong partnerships with schools, community organizations, and business partners; assist with securing agreements, letters of support, memorandums of understanding, and other collaborative opportunities that enhance program visibility and sustainability., • Represent Be Strong International professionally at community meetings, events, media opportunities, and coalition gatherings to strengthen partnerships and promote BSIs mission., • Ensure all programs operate within budget, achieve performance goals, and advance the organizations mission, vision, and strategic objectives., • Conduct and/or document professional development and training sessions for direct reports and coordinate with HR on personnel needs, performance issues, or additional support., • Ensure timely submission of required reports, data summaries, and program documentation to funders and internal leadership., • Proactively communicate with the COO and CEO regarding program performance, challenges, funding risks, or opportunities for improvement., • Lead or participate in strategic planning meetings, goal setting, and program improvement initiatives that align with organizational growth and innovation., • Support the creation of new youth and family programs aligned with BSIs educational and service areas, with potential for unrestricted revenue generation., • Reinforce and model Be Strong Internationals core values across all program operations and staff leadership., • Complete all required trainings before established deadlines and perform other duties as assigned. Required Experience, Qualifications and Skill • Masters degree in management, human services, or related field is required., • Bilingual (English and Spanish or English and Creole preferred), • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience as a program director., • Minimum of five (5) years of experience as program manager., • Proven track record of leading teams toward achieving organizational goals and cultivating a culture of accountability and excellence., • Demonstrated knowledge of positive youth development practices and healthy relationship education, with a passion for helping youth and families achieve positive life outcomes., • Familiarity with Miami Dade and Broward County communities and their diverse populations., • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel) and comfort learning new software systems., • Strong strategic thinking, organizational, and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and apply insights to program improvement., • Solid understanding of budget management, basic accounting, and data analysis principles., • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to prepare reports, proposals, and presentations for internal and external audiences., • Highly organized, detail oriented, and self-motivated, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines., • Strong business acumen, customer service orientation, and the ability to build collaborative relationships across departments and with community stakeholders., • Excellent time management and adaptability in fast paced environments., • Able to commute to all our sites located in Miami Dade and Broward County. Physical Demands: This position is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, speak, and hear. The position requires extensive computer use so the employee must have sufficient hand dexterity to use a computer keyboard and be capable of reading a computer screen.
