Job Description As a Hull Support Manager, you will: * Provide technical and engineering support related to mechanical, electrical, electronic, and structural ship systems during construction, testing, and post-delivery phases. * Manage all Condition Found Reports (CFRs) for the assigned hull, ensuring accurate documentation, tracking, and timely resolution. * Conduct shipchecks to evaluate production progress, material condition, and completion status of CFRs and work items. * Support the Hull Manager in monitoring maintenance activities conducted by lead maintenance entities and shipyards. * Provide trial card management support during dock trials, sea trials, rehearsals, and underway periods. * Coordinate with government personnel, shipbuilders, engineers, and industry partners to ensure consistent technical communication and alignment. * Assist in identifying and mitigating technical risks, deficiencies, and discrepancies during ship construction and acceptance phases. * Prepare reports, briefings, and technical documentation to support program office requirements. * Perform duties in industrial and shipboard environments, including work at heights, confined spaces, and locations requiring PPEConditions of Employment * U.S. Citizenship is required. * Must obtain and maintain an Interim Secret DoD security clearance post-employment. * Must be able to work in shipyards, onboard vessels, and industrial environments. * Position may require walking on uneven surfaces, climbing shipboard ladders, and exposure to high-noise or high-temperature conditions. * Qualifications To qualify for this position, you must meet the following: Minimum Qualifications * High School Diploma/GED and 10–15 years of relevant experience in ship construction, maintenance, repair, or technical support. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). * Ability to support activities within naval facilities and aboard ships undergoing construction, activation, overhaul, repair, or trials. Qualifications To qualify for this position, you must meet the following: Minimum Qualifications * High School Diploma/GED and 10–15 years of relevant experience in ship construction, maintenance, repair, or technical support. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). * Ability to support activities within naval facilities and aboard ships undergoing construction, activation, overhaul, repair, or trials.
