This is full-time position with a 4/10 schedule and availability needed Monday-Thursday only! Full-time benefits and compensation**: • Compensation: $27-32 per hour, for each hour worked*, • Bonus package: $2000, • CE allowance: up to $1,000 annually based on tenure, • Health package: Medical, dental, and vision insurance, • Life insurance and disability, • Employee Assistance Program, • 401k options, • PTO accrual starting at 80 hours annually + 6 paid holidays, • Generous personal pet discounts Your qualifications and skill set: • 3+ years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting, • Current Veterinary Technician License in the state of VA, • Proficiency in the following skills:, • Strong clinical skills in patient assessment, treatment, and medical record management., • Skilled in injections, microscopic evaluation, sample collection, radiology, venipuncture, and gentle animal handling and restraint., • While initially our surgical schedule will be limited, the ideal candidate will have proficiency in anesthesia induction and maintenance, surgical set-up, and assisting in surgery., • Proficient in supporting veterinarians during exams and outpatient procedures., • Excellent client communication, with the ability to explain treatment plans, client demonstrations, and discharge instructions clearly and empathetically.
