The candidate will possess the following: Responsibilities: • Design, implement, and manage complex network solutions to support the organization's business objectives., • Evaluate current network systems and infrastructure to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions accordingly., • Lead and oversee network infrastructure projects, including planning, budgeting, and execution., • Configure and optimize network hardware, software, and protocols, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers., • Implement security measures to protect the organization's network infrastructure from cyber threats and unauthorized access—the ability to perform and understand network penetration and vulnerability testing with various tools., • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to identify and resolve network-related problems promptly., • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior network engineers and IT staff., • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, security, and operations, to ensure alignment of network initiatives with business objectives., • Maintain documentation of network configurations, processes, and procedures., • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in network engineering.Qualifications:, • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent experience., • At least five years of experience in network engineering roles, focusing on designing and managing complex network infrastructures., • In-depth knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies, including TCP/IP, VLANs, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VPN, and DNS., • Extensive experience with network hardware and software, such as Cisco, Dell, Palo Alto, and Arista (Others), • Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption protocols., • Proficiency in network monitoring and troubleshooting tools, such as Wireshark, SolarWinds, netflow/appow, Auvik, or equivalent tools., • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders., • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving network issues. Our insurance coverage practice is nationwide in scope and assists policyholder clients in resolving complex insurance coverage disputes, securing carrier participation in defense and settlement of claims, and maximizing insurance recoveries. Our team advises on the full spectrum of insurance coverage issue areas, including general liability, excess/umbrella, professional, pollution, cyber, auto, property, builders' risk, employee dishonesty, directors and officers, and wrap-up programs, among others. The ideal candidate will have strong and effective analytical, writing, and overall communication skills. Previous experience representing policyholders in insurance coverage matters, including reviewing insurance policies, handling claims, litigating insurance coverage disputes, and/or drafting contractual indemnity and insurance provisions is preferred but not required.
