Key Responsibilities • Prepare and review the effective tax rate, cash tax rate, tax account reconciliations, tax account analyses, and tax reserves, including all computational and reporting aspects of ASC 740., • Support the preparation and review of tax journal entries, as well as cash flow and balance sheet account analyses., • Identify, analyze, and document uncertain tax positions., • Serve as a key liaison and business partner with external advisors (tax planning, audit, R&D, and tax compliance) to ensure timely communication and coordination on tax filings and potential impacts., • Prepare and review foreign tax provisions., • Review U.S. federal, state, and international tax compliance forms prepared by third-party service providers., • Prepare and submit quarterly estimated income tax payments., • Manage and mentor the indirect tax analyst., • Research tax law implications related to planning activities, transactions (including acquisitions), audits, transfer pricing, and compliance., • Collaborate closely with tax planning, FP&A, accounting, and treasury teams to understand transactions and data impacting tax provisions and returns., • Assist with tax audits and special projects as needed., • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA required., • Minimum 7 years of corporate tax experience with a strong focus on tax provision and compliance., • Deep knowledge of ASC 740 and corporate income tax accounting., • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reconciliations., • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to partner cross-functionally and with external advisors., • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail., • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment., • Experience with NetSuite and Avalara strongly preferred., • SaaS, fintech, or technology industry experience a plus.
