Job Description Bilingual Manufacturing Engineer (Spanish/English) Saline, MI Direct Hire About the Role We are seeking a hands-on, bilingual Manufacturing Engineer to support post-molding operations, product launches, and continuous improvement initiatives. This is a floor-focused role—ideal for someone who enjoys building, troubleshooting, and working directly with production teams rather than sitting behind a desk. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring efficient, safe, and scalable assembly processes, while collaborating closely with teams in both the U.S. and Monterrey, Mexico. Key Responsibilities • Support quoting activities for post-mold tooling, fixtures, gauges, and assembly equipment, • Design, build, and modify assembly fixtures and secondary tooling, • Troubleshoot and optimize manufacturing equipment directly on the production floor, • Lead and support product launches, pre-production builds, and capability runs, • Develop and implement automation solutions, including robotic integration, • Create and maintain process documentation (process flows, PFMEAs, control plans), • Develop standard work instructions with input from operators and supervisors, • Manage manufacturing programs from launch through steady-state production, • Track tooling/equipment status and resolve open issues, • Support engineering changes and feasibility reviews, • Ensure compliance with ISO 14001 and TS 16949 standards, • Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Quality, Tooling, and Engineering teams Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related), • Fluent in Spanish and English (required), • Strong hands-on experience with assembly fixtures and equipment, • Experience working with injection molding processes, • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and manuals, • Experience developing work instructions and manufacturing documentation, • Knowledge of GD&T and mechanical engineering principles, • Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills, • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills Preferred Qualifications • Experience with 2D/3D CAD tools, • Background working with suppliers and external vendors, • Experience in automation or robotics integration Work Environment • Highly hands-on, production floor environment, • Regular exposure to heat, noise, and manufacturing conditions, • Requires standing for extended periods, • Strong focus on safety, ergonomics, and continuous improvementCompany DescriptionBranex Group is a Minority-owned Technical Staffing firm headquartered in Auburn Hills, MI.
