The Optum family of businesses is seeking a Behavioral Health Clinical Therapist to join our team in Monroe, NY. As a member of the Optum Behavioral Care team, you'll be an integral part of our vision to make healthcare better for everyone. The therapist is responsible for providing direct clinical services to adult and pediatric patients in the Collaborative Care Model (CoCM) in a primary care clinic and will operate in conjunction with Optum Behavioral Care (OBC) to serve as the core member of the hybrid in-person/virtual collaborative care team for OBC clients. In this cutting-edge team the therapist will interface between patients, PCPs, and psychiatrists to support the mental health and physical health care of patients on an assigned patient caseload from OBC clients. The therapist will have the support of OBC's clinical and operational teams. This role will expand our use of our Elite 3e system to improve matter budget hygiene, capture quantitative and qualitative fee arrangement pricing schemas, and facilitate rate querying abilities. The role will also drive the Firmwide annual rate setting process by querying information from various sources, compiling key data points, aligning offsetting cost metrics, interpreting findings, and sharing proposals / final presentations with senior leadership and the Billing Rate Committee. In addition, the role will lead an overall data normalization, standardization, and white-space population initiative within Elite 3E and work closely with the Manager of Finance Department Systems to migrate key reporting metrics from SSRS to Power BI. These outputs will reshape our current reporting processes to allow for more streamlined, uniform, scalable reporting that enables our finance and legal team to spend more time analyzing data while requiring less time for independent multi-sourced data gathering. This role will not only drive this initiative but also manipulate data to allow for insightful analyses and forward-thinking presentations. Community Oriented Recovery and Empowerment (CORE) services is a program serving individuals living with severe and persistent mental illness. This program serves Medicaid HARP enrollees and works to assist individuals in reaching their recovery goals. Services provided include Psychosocial Rehabilitation, which incorporates education and employment goals, and Peer Support. There is an extensive and broad range of services that include but are not limited to the improvement of daily living skills, managing finances, obtaining or improving safe and affordable housing, furthering one’s education, obtaining employment, achieving personal recovery and/or resilience, improving family and interpersonal relationships, preventing social isolation, connecting with effective and comprehensive behavioral health and primary care, and full community integration. The CORE Services Certified Peer Specialist is responsible for delivering Peer Support as well as the other direct care services offered within the CORE program. The CORE Services Certified Peer Specialist is responsible for ensuring members receive person-centered, trauma-informed and culturally competent services with a rehabilitation and recovery focus in their homes or their community. This role is responsible for facilitating the utilization of natural resources and the enhancement of recovery-oriented principles with the intention to assist individuals with initiating recovery, maintaining health and wellness, and enhancing the quality of personal and family life for long-term recovery.
