Job DescriptionDescription: Position Title: Vice President of Technology Reports To (Title): President This position is hybrid – Involves some travel to South Bend, Indiana and Schaumburg, Illinois (IT Warehouse and Corporate Office) Company Overview: Since 2012, Lighthouse Autism Center (LAC) has provided the highest quality, center-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children with autism. LAC is a leading ABA therapy provider with centers located in: Indiana, Michigan, Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska and North Carolina. At Lighthouse, children work on things like social skills, daily living skills, communication skills, and school-readiness skills. All children are overseen by Board Certified Behavior Analysts and programs are implemented by Registered Behavior Technicians. Lighthouse Autism Center also has full-time Speech-Language Pathologists on staff who provide co-treat and consultative services speech therapy services to children who attend the centers. Summary: The Vice President of Technology (VPIT) is a senior leadership role that will serve as both an operational technology leader and a strategic change agent within Lighthouse. We are in search of a “help the company change” leader and someone who has experience in the AI transformation wave. This leader will work cross-functionally with clinical, operational, and executive stakeholders to elevate Lighthouse's technology maturity. The role defines and leads the technology vision, strategy, and operations for LAC. This role will support all functions in the organization in addition to expansion initiatives, including organic growth and M&A. A primary responsibility of this role is to provide strategic oversight, execution, and leadership of an information technology roadmap that positions the organization for long-term success. The VPIT will oversee all aspects of the IT department, including infrastructure, security, applications, data management and support services. Responsibilities: Operational Technology Leadership • Build and lead a high-performing technology team within a healthcare-focused, Private Equity-backed organization with a distributed model., • Establish a robust, scalable technology architecture and technical foundations, vendor-integrated ecosystems, cybersecurity posture, and delivery capabilities to support growth and operational excellence., • Oversee enterprise-wide systems (e.g. EHR/clinical systems, ERP, CRM, scheduling, billing/revenue cycle, HRIS, cybersecurity tools). Monitor and analyze emerging trends in health tech, telehealth, data platforms, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and determine applicability to LAC., • Maintain third party technology vendor relationships., • Ensure high service levels for center operations (e.g. network reliability, device fleet management, incident response, and SLAs)., • Implement strong IT governance, security, risk management, and compliance frameworks (e.g., HIPPA, PHI handling, audit readiness)., • Drive disciplined execution of IT projects aligned to the organization's strategic objectives., • Architect Lighthouse's future-state technology vision. Define and execute a multi-year Technology Roadmap that materially enhances clinical outcomes, operational scalability, and business model innovation., • Serve as the executive though partner for Technology and Innovation within the firm., • Develop and own a multi-year Technology Roadmap aligned with Lighthouse's clinical, operational, and business model growth strategy., • Identify and champion transformative opportunities that will push Lighthouse to the operating model of tomorrow (e.g. digital intake, diagnostics measurement, optimized scheduling, automated revenue maximization planning)., • Identify and evaluate disruption opportunities using technology that could alter the operating landscape (e.g., advanced outcomes measurement)., • Evaluate and integrate strategic vendor and platform partnerships., • Support executives and PE sponsors with value-creation planning, KPI tracking, diligence preparation, and post-acquisition integration where relevant. Requirements: Education & Certifications • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field. Master’s degree (e.g. MBA, MIS) preferred., • 10+ years of progressive technology leadership experience; prior healthcare, multi-site services, or Private Equity - backed experience strongly preferred., • Proven track record building or transforming Technology organizations in distributed or high-growth environments., • Ability to translate strategy into actionable roadmaps with clear sequencing, budgets, and KPIs., • Deep understanding of enterprise systems common to healthcare services (e.g., ERP, practice management, revenue cycle systems, CRM, ERP, HRIS)., • Experience implementing vendor ecosystems and API-driven integrations., • Strong background in modern Data and Analytic platforms and architectures., • Demonstrated success driving digital transformation, innovation, and large-scale change programs., • Knowledge of HIPAA, PHI security, and healthcare compliance standards., • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
