Job Responsibilities • Problem solving: Use tech design skills to solve a wide variety of challenging problems related to the manufacturing of tactical apparel and gear products., • Design Analysis: Analyze product design tech packs, patterns and samples then provide feedback on design, construction details, proper techniques, and manufacturability., • Marker Making: Work with product designers, pattern makers, and production teams using Gerber Accumark to design efficient production markers for a wide range of sizes and products for high and low volume production of apparel and gear items., • Pattern Design and Development: Use Gerber and AutoCad to analyze/design patterns for manufacturability and high-volume production., • Process Development: Analyze complicated apparel and gear construction sequences, write manufacturing/work instructions conduct cycle time studies, calculate manufacturing metrics (throughput, scrap rate, OEE, etc.)., • Teamwork: Work with a cross functional team of tech designers, engineers, production staff, and product designers to create manufacturing solutions for high quality, high throughput production.
