Job Description We are seeking a warm, dedicated, and organized Lead Infant Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will be the heart of the classroom, fostering a safe and stimulating environment where our youngest learners can thrive. You will lead the daily curriculum, manage classroom operations, and build meaningful partnerships with families. Key Responsibilities: 1. Curriculum & Engagement • Implement age-appropriate activities that stimulate sensory, motor, and cognitive development., • Engage infants through purposeful play, storytelling, music, and floor-time interaction., • Observe and document developmental milestones for each child. 2. Physical Care & Routine • Manage the feeding schedule for all infants, including the preparation and distribution of breakfast, lunch, and snacks., • Handle all hygiene needs, including frequent diaper changes and assisting older infants with potty training/bathroom breaks., • Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized classroom environment that meets health and safety standards. 3. Communication & Documentation • Digital Reporting: Use our school app Procare to provide real-time updates to parents (naps, feedings, diapering, and photos)., • Paperwork: Complete all required daily logs, attendance records, and incident reports accurately., • Parent Partnership: Act as the primary point of contact for parents regarding their child’s daily progress and well-being. 4. Leadership & Teamwork • Collaborate effectively with Assistant Teachers and floaters to ensure a seamless classroom flow., • All candidates must have either 9 early childhood credits completed while pursuing an early childhood degree or have completed their CDA, Bachelor's or Associate's in Early Childhood Education., • You must also have at least one-year experience in classroom or working with children., • Experience: Previous experience working with infants or toddlers in a licensed childcare setting., • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills; comfortable using mobile apps for documentation., • Stamina: Ability to lift up to 35 lbs, bend, stoop, and sit on the floor for extended periods., • Soft Skills: A calm demeanor, extreme patience, and a genuine passion for early childhood development.
