We are recruiting for the following position: Sea Mar is a mandatory COVID-19 and flu vaccine organization Psychiatric Provider Aide (Behavioral Health) - Posting Hourly Wage: $20.76 Position Summary: Sea Mar Behavioral Health’s diverse and quickly expanding program is seeking a full-time Psychiatric Provider Aide for our Behavioral Health Department in Bellevue, WA. The Psychiatric Provider Aide supports Psychiatric prescribers in administrative and clinical areas. This position also works with Mental Health Therapists in coordinating care to ensure continuity of care for clients. The Psychiatric Provider Aide provides screenings and case management in coordination with other teams or parties involved in treatment. Candidate participates actively as a team member in the delivery of client services, and the coordination of community support services. Assists in insuring agency compliance with WAC's, RCW's, and other pertinent laws, regulations, and contracts. In addition, staff will ensure that charts, prescription refill requests, and all information or paperwork the psychiatric prescriber will need is prepared ahead of time and organized in the fashion preferred by the prescriber. Ensures medication storage, maintenance, dispensation and waste logs are maintained in accordance with Sea Mar policies and procedures. Any area of non-compliance should be reported immediately to the supervisor/manager, if applicable. Ensures that all medical, nursing, health & safety and personnel policies and procedures are being followed and implemented. The Nurse is responsible for supervising patient care, treatment, and assessment during transport. Duties include providing excellent patient care, safe lifting and transferring of patients, operating emergency vehicles safely, adhering to company policies, completing documentation, responding to dispatch instructions, maintaining safety standards, participating in continuing education, keeping vehicles and stations clean, maintaining equipment and supplies, communicating effectively, and maintaining strict confidentiality. Wages: This is an hourly position. Wage range is $51.91-$70.44 per hour, determined by the length of licensure. Shifts are generally 12 or 24 hours in duration; therefore, full-time schedules include overtime compensation in accordance with applicable labor laws. Per Diem nurses are required to work a minimum of 48 hours per month. Specific work locations are not guaranteed; assignments will depend on where hours are available and may vary based on staffing needs. Education and Experience: Active and unencumbered RN license. Prefer 3 years of experience in a critical care or emergency department environment. Certified in ACLS and PALS prior to hire. Certified CEN and/or CCRN preferred. Patient transport experience preferred. BSN preferred. EMT-B bridge course will be offered upon hire and must be completed within 90 days of hire date. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting in a vehicle and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds at times. Ability to bend and stoop, ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time, possess hand-eye-foot coordination and color recognition, good manual dexterity, with the ability to perform all tasks related to Emergency Medical Services Duty.
