Job Description Position Type: Full-Time Experience: • Immigration Paralegal: 2 years (Required) Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Immigration Paralegal with a minimum of 2 years of experience in: family-based immigration, humanitarian relief, removal defense, and employment-based experience is a plus. As a vital member of our team, you will work directly with attorneys to prepare and file petitions and applications with USCIS, EOIR, and other government agencies. Key Responsibilities: • Prepare and file a wide range of immigration forms and supporting documents (e.g., I-130, I-485, Waivers, VAWA, U visa, TPS, T-visas, 42B, 42B Vawa, EOIR AOS, 42A, Asylum, Withholding of Removal, CAT, and BONDs)., • Draft affidavits, declarations, and client statements., • Draft supporting documents and cover letters., • Conduct client intake and maintain case files., • Manage client communications, answer case-related questions, and collect necessary documents., • Communicate with clients regarding case status and requirements., • Track internal and external deadlines and maintain accurate case management records., • Monitor deadlines and case progress., • Assist attorneys with research, case preparation, and filing, • Stay informed on current immigration laws, regulations, and policies, • Prepare case status reports for the firm's attorneys, • Schedule attorneys and paralegal calendar appointments and activities (as needed), • Scan and Mailing, • Greet clients upon arrival at the office, • A minimum of 2 years of experience as an immigration paralegal, family-based, humanitarian, Bonds and removal) (employment-based experience is a plus), • Excellent written and verbal communication skills -Spanish and English (required), • Proficiency with case management and immigration software (INSZoom, CEAC, MyUSCIS, EOIR Case Portal), • Proficiency in preparing USCIeS, DOS, forms, and filings- (ECAS) (OPLA), FLAG is a plus, • Knowledge of the operation of Ring Central, Zoom, Teams, Google Calendar, and Google Drive, Microsoft Office (preferred) (Knowledge of Inszoom legal software is a plus), • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail., • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment., • Commitment to client service and a compassionate approach to working with immigrant communities., • Integrity & Ethics: Upholding the highest ethical standards, ensuring transparency, honesty, and accountability in all our legal services., • Excellence in Legal Representation: Providing thorough, high-quality legal counsel by staying informed on the latest immigration laws, policies, and procedures., • Innovation & Adaptability: Embracing technology and innovative legal strategies to navigate the complexities of immigration law efficiently., • Compassion & Respect: Recognizing the human impact of immigration law and treating every client with dignity, respect, and understanding., • Client Advocacy: Guiding our clients through the immigration process with empathy, professionalism, and a commitment to their best interests.
