Key Responsibilities • Lead end-to-end electrical estimating for commercial and industrial projects, including conceptual, negotiated, and hard-bid work, • Prepare detailed, accurate estimates for ground-up and TI projects (commercial, industrial, and specialty scopes as applicable), • Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to determine full project scope, • Perform material takeoffs, labor analysis, equipment pricing, and subcontractor evaluations, • Collaborate with preconstruction, operations, and project management teams to ensure alignment from bid through execution, • Identify risk, value-engineering opportunities, and cost-saving strategies, • Participate in bid reviews and present pricing strategies to senior leadership, • Maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors, • 7+ years of electrical estimating experience (senior-level preferred), • Strong background in commercial and/or industrial electrical construction, • Proficiency with estimating software such as Accubid (Classic, Anywhere, or Enterprise) or similar platforms, • Solid understanding of labor units, productivity, and market pricing in the Houston / Texas market, • Ability to independently manage large and complex estimates, • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, • Confidential search with a financially stable contractor, • Consistent backlog and sustainable growth, not boom-and-bust work, • Leadership values accuracy, professionalism, and long-term relationships, • Competitive compensation package (base + bonus, commensurate with experience) All inquiries and submissions will be handled with the strictest confidentiality.
