Job DescriptionDescription: About Alta Pest Control Alta Pest Control is one of the fastest-growing home service companies in the country, operating in multiple markets with a strong focus on customer experience, operational excellence, and a “Become More” culture. Our Inside Sales department is a critical revenue engine, responsible for converting inbound and outbound demand into scheduled services and new customers. We are building a high-performance, professional Inside Sales organization, and the Inside Sales Manager plays a central leadership role in that transformation. The Inside Sales Manager is responsible for leading, developing, and scaling Alta’s Inside Sales Representatives (ISRs) to hit revenue, conversion, and performance goals. This role oversees daily sales operations, coaching, KPI management, one-on-ones, hiring decisions, workflows, and accountability. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment and knows how to develop high-performing teams through structure, coaching, and consistent execution. What You’ll Do Leadership & Team Development • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Inside Sales Representatives, • Conduct weekly one-on-ones, performance coaching sessions, and call reviews, • Identify A-players, B-players, and C-players and develop clear performance plans for each, • Maintain a professional team culture aligned with Alta’s standards and values, • Hold the team accountable to daily/weekly activity and revenue expectations Sales Strategy & Execution • Own daily sales operations, ensuring reps follow Alta’s value-based sales process., • Manage inbound and outbound lead workflows, talk tracks, objection handling, and close-rate improvement., • Set clear goals for revenue, talk time, appointment rate, follow-up cadence, and documentation quality., • Monitor performance dashboards and make real-time adjustments to meet targets., • Ensure reps execute follow-up cadences within required SLA timelines. Data, Reporting & KPIs • Track and report on daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs including: Close Rate, Revenue per ISR, Total Sales Volume, Conversion Rate (Inbound & Outbound), Talk Time, Cost per Booking, Lead Follow-Up Completion, CRM Documentation Accuracy, • Provide performance updates and insights to the VP of Marketing & Inside Sales., • Use data to identify trends, skill gaps, and opportunities for improvement. Operational Management • Maintain full visibility and management of the team's pipeline, scheduling accuracy, and service coordination., • Ensure SOPs, scripts, and workflows are followed consistently., • Partner with Marketing, Dispatch, and Customer Service for workflow alignment., • Collaborate closely with the VP to optimize staffing, scheduling, and productivity., • Ensure proper use of Alta’s tech stack (HubSpot, Zoom, call tracking, internal workflows). Hiring, Onboarding & Training • Assist with hiring, interviewing, and selecting high-quality Inside Sales talent., • Oversee onboarding, initial training, and skill development programs., • Implement weekly Monday training curriculum (skills, value pitching, objection handling, product knowledge)., • Evaluate rep performance and make decisions on promotions, corrective action, or terminations when necessary. Requirements: What You Bring to the Table • 3–5+ years of inside sales leadership experience (home services, pest control, call center, or similar preferred)., • Proven success managing a KPI-driven team with measurable results., • Strong coaching, communication, and leadership skills., • Ability to make tough decisions when needed (performance management, staffing)., • Comfortable working in a high-volume, high-velocity sales environment., • Skilled in CRM systems, sales performance dashboards, and communication technology., • High level of professionalism, emotional intelligence, and accountability.
