Job DescriptionDescription: This is an in-house/proprietary position that is eligible for benefits and paid time off. The ultimate parent organization of 918 Security, LLC is the George Kaiser Family Foundation (GKFF). In this role, you will provide project management and operational responsibility for administrative coordination of the Companies security procedures, including training of all Security policies and procedures ensuring compliance with security and company policies. This role requires a dynamic leader who will play a pivotal role in building a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Requirements: Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Including, but not limited to): • Conduct all activities in alignment with principles and integrity of 918 Security / GKFF., • Obtain CLEET instructor certification., • Strong Knowledge of security principles, practices, and operations., • Create engaging and effective training materials, including presentations, handouts, and practical exercises., • Lead, develop, and implement field training officer (FTO) program to enhance security awareness and skills for new hire security personnel., • Provide guidance, training, and support to the 918 Security team to enhance their effectiveness and professionalism., • Monitors work activities to ensure compliance with policies and procedures. Makes recommendations for changes and improvements to existing standards and procedures., • Analytical mindset with the ability to assess risks, identify security training gaps, and implement effective solutions / training; including ongoing security officer development/continuing education., • Schedule and organize training sessions, both in-person and online., • Maintain accurate records of training completion and certifications for compliance purposes., • Conduct regular drills and training exercises to ensure readiness and effectiveness in emergency situations., • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with Team Members, Guests, Business Tenants, and law enforcement personnel., • Remain current on the latest security threats, technologies, and best practices., • Compile data and analyzes trends for proactive response and planning., • Conduct internal and external physical security risk assessments for departments and facilities as needed or requested to identify vulnerabilities and barriers and create an action plan to resolve., • Initiate use of force reviews for incidents involving the use of personal protective equipment by security officers., • Leading teams through problem-solving processes and conflict resolution., • Maintain strict confidentiality of all internal affairs to include information pertaining to any guest, employee or business of GKFF., • Experience training others in security related topics., • Able to exhibit professional judgment and decision-making skills., • Self-motivated, self-managing, adaptable to changing needs and taking on new tasks, and receptive to receiving constructive feedback., • Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations and make quick, sound decisions., • Ability to express ideas clearly and concisely using appropriate mediums (face-to-face or electronic communication), listen effectively, demonstrate understanding, and clarify meaning for others, • Ability to interact cooperatively and collaboratively with others as a team, including those holding opposing view and goals, • Proficient in computer software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite., • Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement., • Ability to work independently and as part of a team., • Good knowledge of the National Incident Management System and Incident Command System principles and concepts., • Experienced in managing processes or projects and driving change through positive influence., • Knowledge of CCTV systems and controls, card access systems, panic buttons, burglar alarms, etc., • Builds positive relationships; works with others in a collaborative, integrated manner, • Excellence in report writing and documentation of Security related administration., • High School diploma or equivalent., • Over Three (3+) years of leadership experience in Security, Law Enforcement, Military, Homeland Security, or comparable experience in a large scope property., • Proficient with MS Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and able to adapt well to various other computer programs, • Must be able to work a flexible schedule that meets the needs of a 24/7 365-day operation, varied and long shifts including holidays, weekends and events, • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Criminal Justice or similar security related field, • Knowledge of Oklahoma State Laws and Law Enforcement practices., • First responder skills/experience, • Frequent standing, walking, sitting, • Use hands, fingers, handle or feel; and talk or hear; climb stairs, • Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, • Must use close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to focus This is a safety-sensitive position.
