Job Description Accounting Specialist (AS) About Tall Timbers Research Station & Land Conservancy - The mission of Tall Timbers Research Station & Land Conservancy is to foster exemplary land stewardship through research, conservation and education. Our primary research focus is the ecology and management of fire-dependent ecosystems and wildlife, including bobwhite quail, in the Southeastern Coastal Plain. Position Description The position(s) of Accounting Specialist show proficiency in basic accounting functions with a focus on accuracy over all things, ability to work as part of a team providing customer service to Tall Timbers employees/department heads. Must have excellent organizational skills and attention to details. Must be proficient in Microsoft excel & word, basic email correspondence. Sage Intacct experience is a Plus! Currently there are two positions open. (1) Position AS Revenue recognition Job Duties include but not limited to: · Recording & reconciliation of incoming e-payments (paypal, square, stripe) · Utilizing Sage - recording cash receipts/ daily deposits · Monthly revenue reconciliation with other departments · Digitizing/Archiving revenue records · Basic journal entry - data entry · Assist with preparations for audits, pulling cash receipting support documents on demand. Job Duties include but not limited to: · Set up and update monthly grant records · SEFA report management · Digitize and manage executed grant agreements and modifications · Utilizing Sage – prepare monthly and/or quarterly grant invoices · Work with Asst Controller to track unpaid invoices – grants receivable · Assist with new grant kickoff meetings Minimum Training and Experience · Associates degree; high school diploma/equivalent and experience equal to four years. Apalachee Center, Inc. provides comprehensive behavioral health services across 8 counties (Franklin, Gadsden, Jefferson, Leon, Liberty, Madison, Taylor, and Wakulla Counties). Overview: Licensed Mental Health Professional (LMHP) performs crisis intervention, risk assessment and referral services for individuals in the community that are experiencing a mental health crisis. The LMHP will be part of a 2-person team which includes law enforcement. The TEAM (Tallahassee Emergency Assessment Mobile) will be operating off-site and will be dispatched to the community through 9-1-1. The LMHP will strive to avert psychiatric hospitalization though crisis intervention but may initiate the Baker Act or Marchman Act for involuntary examination when appropriate. The LMHP will make referrals and help to connect individuals with community resources and treatment. The LMHP will conduct risk assessments and document in Apalachee Center’s electronic medical record. ESSENTIAL/CORE JOB-SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Provides crisis intervention counseling and risk assessment., • Collects collateral information from families and other sources to complete risk assessment., • Initiates Baker Act and Marchman Act examinations when appropriate., • Links clients served with services and other resources., • Provides follow-up outreach per TEAM protocols., • Maintains all required documentation in accordance with Clinical Record Handbook specifications or Agency policies and procedures., • Consults with inpatient and outpatient staff about referrals as needed. Job DescriptionGeneral Characteristics Manages the coordination of human resource needs for IT projects. Develops the systems and processes to ensure that business, project and employee needs are met in the assignment of staff to projects. Responsible for developing and managing an employee skills assessment process, forecasting skill and staff needs based on project plans.
