OBJECTIVE The Farm Stand Key Holder is responsible for the quality assurance, routine sanitation, and maintenance of all Farmstand products, merchandise, and display areas in accordance with company standards. The continual assessment, evaluation and placement of inventory is required to support the Farmstand Buyer make informed product buys and replenishment orders. The Farm Stand Key Holder will also be responsible for supporting the General Manager and Operations Team effectively and efficiently conduct the movement of inventory and provide an exceptional customer experience. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice. • Manage and maintain the daily operations, volume and appearance of inventory for all Farmstand product categories to ensure quality assurance, sanitation and maintenance of product in accordance with company guidelines as well as health and safety standards, • Effectively utilize the space of the department to produce improved displays and make recommended floor moves and product placement as directed by the Farmstand Buyer and General Manager, • Build employee and customer relationships through routine interactions and the transfer of specific product knowledge and usage to answer questions and inquires as well as providing exceptional customer service, • Ensure that all opening and closing procedures are completed in an accurate and timely manner, • Ensure the continual completion of daily sanitation tasks in accordance with internal and external food handling procedures and regulations, • Maintain and communicate all administrative tasks and documentation related to department needs including accurate receiving of product, and all other documents and procedures needed by the Inventory Control Associate including the proper recording of product movement, • Routinely communicate department trends and recommendations to the Farmstand Buyer to help make informed purchase and product replenishment orders, • Support the movement of department specific inventory through the unloading of trucks and efficient movement of department specific inventory, • Ensure the efficient usage of the POS system, • Efficiently utilize POS system to facilitate proper cash and accurate POS transactions on a daily basis as well as verify customer information, look up items and add new rewards members as needed, • Customer Focus, • Written and Verbal Communication, • Maintenance of Productive Team Relationships, • Strong Work Ethic, • Well Organized, • Problem Solving Skills PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Associate's Degree or higher in Management/Hospitality or 2+ years demonstrated progressive responsibility in food services, retail grocery, or restaurant required. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and POS required with Counterpoint preferred. Demonstrated customer service skills required. WORK ENVIRONMENT This job operates in an active retail store environment. This job may be either indoors or outdoors or both. PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch and/or crawl.
