Job DescriptionDescription: Woerner Agribusiness LLC, a family-owned leader in sod, hardscape is seeking a dynamic FULL-TIME Lead Sales Associate, to join our winning team! The Lead Sales Associate supports daily store operations with a focus on turfgrass products, customer service, and team leadership. This role ensures customers—ranging from homeowners to professional landscapers—receive expert guidance on turfgrass selection while making sure our customers have the best experience as possible. Requirements: Customer Service & Sales • Provide expert recommendations on turfgrass varieties, soil, fertilizers, and lawn care products, • Assist customers with product selection, order processing, and loading materials, • Build strong relationships with contractors, landscapers, and repeat customers, • Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently, • Oversee daily yard and store operations in the absence of the manager, • Coordinate product deliveries, staging, and merchandising displays, • Ensure yard organization, cleanliness, and safety standards Team Leadership • Supervise and support associates during shifts, • Train new employees on products, equipment, and customer service standards, • Carryout delegated tasks and ensure workflow efficiency, • Lead by example with a strong work ethic and positive attitude Equipment & Safety • Operate forklifts, skid steers, and loading equipment (training provided if needed), • Follow all safety procedures for handling materials and chemicals, • Ensure team compliance with OSHA and company safety standards Job Type: Full-time, non-exempt Benefits: • Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance, • 401(k), • Life Insurance, • Flexible Savings Account, • Paid Time Off, • Employee Discount Schedule: • 8-hour Shift, Monday to Friday, • 1/2 day on Saturday's (Rotating) Education: • High school or equivalent (Preferred) Experience: • Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred), • Lawn & Garden Sales: 1 year (Preferred) Work Location: In person E.O.E.
