Job Description Location: Apizza Alimentari, Fayetteville, New York Job Type: Full-Time | Reports To: Front of House Management Position Summary: The Barista prepares coffee and espresso beverages while delivering a warm and welcoming hospitality experience to guests. This role includes operating the point-of-sale (POS) system, interacting with guests at the counter, and supporting beverage service throughout the restaurant when needed. The Barista may also assist with bakery retail operations including packaging, displaying, and selling baked goods. Key Responsibilities • Prepare coffee, espresso drinks, and other beverages according to quality standards., • Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to take and process customer orders and payments., • Provide friendly and attentive guest interaction at the coffee counter., • Assist with beverage service to dining guests throughout the restaurant when needed., • Maintain cleanliness and organization of coffee equipment and workstations., • Stock coffee supplies, milk, syrups, and other beverage ingredients., • Assist with bakery retail operations including packaging, labeling, displaying, and selling baked goods., • Answer guest questions regarding coffee beverages, bakery items, and menu offerings., • Strong hospitality and guest service mindset, • Friendly communication and interpersonal skills, • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, • Basic familiarity with POS systems or willingness to learn, • Attention to cleanliness and organization, • Previous coffee, café, or hospitality experience preferred, • Food handler certification preferred, • Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment, • Competitive wages, • Paid vacation time, • 401(k) options, • Health insurance for employees averaging 30+ hours per week, • Food & beverage allowance, • Growth opportunities
