About the Role As the Senior Construction Administrator at HFG Architecture, you will lead the construction phase of healthcare projects, ensuring that design intent is successfully carried through from documentation to completion. You will serve as the primary point of contact during construction, working closely with contractors, consultants, and internal project teams to address field conditions, interpret construction documents, and support successful project delivery. Key Responsibilities & Duties: Construction Leadership: • Serve as the primary Construction Administration lead during the construction phase of architectural projects., • Support successful project delivery from groundbreaking through project closeout while ensuring design intent is maintained., • Review and process submittals, requests for information (RFIs), change orders, and contractor pay applications., • Interpret and clarify architectural drawings, specifications, and consultant documentation for contractors and project partners., • Ensure constructed work aligns with applicable building codes, healthcare regulations, and owner requirements., • Conduct regular site visits and construction observations to verify compliance with design documents, quality standards, and project requirements., • Identify potential issues and collaborate with contractors and consultants to resolve them in a timely and effective manner., • Work closely with contractors, consultants, and project managers to facilitate collaboration throughout the construction process., • Participate in construction meetings, providing insight and technical expertise to support decision-making and issue resolution., • Assist in maintaining project documentation including field reports, meeting minutes, and issue tracking logs., • Support project closeout activities such as punch lists, final documentation, and warranty follow-up. This role includes approximately 20-30% travel for project-related needs, including site visits, client meetings, or industry events.
