This role involves performing and reviewing high-complexity tests, including LC/MS urine confirmations and infectious disease assays, in a fast-paced, CLIA-certified laboratory. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and committed to maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance.Youll work closely with our technical and quality teams to ensure testing integrity, troubleshoot issues, and help optimize laboratory workflows. This position offers opportunities for continued training, cross-departmental collaboration, and potential career advancement as Monarch expands its testing services.Key Responsibilities: • Perform high-complexity clinical testing, including LC/MS urine confirmations and infectious disease assays, in accordance with SOPs and CLIA regulations, • Analyze, review, and validate test results prior to release to ensure accuracy and precision, • Conduct and document quality control procedures and participate in quality improvement activities, • Assist with test method development, validation, and verification as needed, • Maintain accurate records, logs, and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards, • Ensure adherence to laboratory safety protocols, PPE requirements, and HIPAA regulations, • Collaborate with laboratory management and technical staff to resolve operational and analytical issues, • Support training of new staff or students as assigned, • Contribute to maintaining a positive and collaborative team environmentQualifications:, • Bachelors degree in chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science, or medical technology from an accredited institution, • Valid California CLS license required, • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a CLIA-certified clinical laboratory, • Experience in toxicology and LC/MS instrumentation preferred, • Strong understanding of laboratory quality systems and regulatory standards (CLIA, CAP, COLA, etc.), • Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills, • Strong written and verbal communication skills, • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and laboratory information systems (LIS) What We Offer: • Competitive compensation commensurate with experience, • Health, dental, and vision benefits (for eligible employees), • Supportive, team-based work culture, • Opportunities for advancement as the company grows, • Ongoing training and professional development opportunities
