This may include testing the patient for qualifying clinical needs, gathering information, completing and/or submitting the information to the facility., • Records all pertinent information on respiratory care records and patient charts. This includes consults, recommendations, and pertinent conversations with physicians, staff, patient, patient family members or other caregivers., • Assists facility in regulatory issues, ensuring that respiratory equipment and supplies are stored in appropriate storage area, and appropriate signs and documentation are provided within the facility., • Takes care of routine mail, phone calls and pages, as necessary. Also completes necessary filing and faxing., • Communicates with facility staff regarding relevant clinical and operational issues regarding the program and patient care issues., • Assess for patient’s respiratory needs. Assess oxygen saturation and use of pulse ox. Be able to assess ventilator patients and work with ventilator., • Complete treatment and ventilator check in a timely fashion. Notifies supervisor of any facility concerns or needs., • Completes TARs at the end of each month checking for accurate information., • The ability to assess for decannulation and weaning., • May participate in a wide variety of special projects., • Ability to work independently in a consulting capacity., • Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team., • Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members, and at all levels of the organization., • Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations., • Ability to organize a schedule and work to meet facility needs., • Ability to maintain confidentiality., • Excellent organizational skills.

Job Description Harbor is seeking a BCBA to join the Port Sylvania ABA Clinic! This individual will assume clinical responsibility for ongoing treatment of clients utilizing behavior treatment theory and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Position is full-time, 40-hours per week. Education/Experience/Other Requirements: • Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) required, • BCBA or BCBA-D credential/licensure required, • Must receive COBA credential/licensure within 8 months of employment, • Additional license preferred (i.e., LSW, LPC, LPCC, LISW), • Must be proficient and accurate in computer use, including Microsoft Word., • In providing billable services, fulfills or exceeds unit expectations established by Harbor., • Maintains clinical responsibility for individual, family and/or group services of clients., • Provides supervision of staff upon expectation of supervisor, including supervision of Registered Behavior Technicians where appropriate., • Works with more complex cases, which may require more complex assessments for special populations., • May administer psychological tests under the supervision of a licensed psychologist consistent with training and competence, • Demonstrates satisfactory performance on identified outcome measures and client satisfaction reports., • Demonstrates satisfactory performance on required Peer/Clinical Record Reviews and in the timely and accurate completion of Peer/Clinical Records Reviews for other staff., • Provides effective and efficient management of caseload., • Participates in peer consultations, staff meetings, and continuing education., • Facilitates referrals to appropriate internal and/or external resources where indicated., • Participates in program development as requested and where possible., • Must be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, based on client need., • A leading provider of mental health and substance use treatment for over 100 years, • 350+ clinical staff serve over 24,000 clients across multiple locations and in the community each year It is fast-paced and challenging, but you will have a lot of fun in the process.
