🌟 Accounts Receivable Specialist 🌟 📍 Location: In-Person Mill Creek, WA | 🕒 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM 💵 Pay: $24–$26 per hour (based on experience) ✨ Benefits: Full Benefits + 401k + Tuition Repayment Program 💼 About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our growing team! In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing AR follow-up, resolving denied or rejected claims, and ensuring patients and providers receive accurate billing support. If you enjoy problem-solving, working with payors, and making a difference in patient care through financial accuracy, this is the perfect opportunity for you! 🔑 Key Responsibilities • Follow up with insurance companies on incorrectly paid, rejected, or denied claims., • Correct rejected claims through the clearinghouse., • Research overpayments and issue refund checks., • Respond to billing inquiries from patients and staff within 48 hours., • Enter detailed electronic notes for all claim activity, denials, and re-bills., • Collect unpaid patient balances through letters, email, and phone outreach., • Process patient payments over the phone., • Respond to account balance requests from attorneys., • Correct address issues on returned mail., • Assign accounts to collections when needed., • Research patient credits and issue refunds., • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations, maintaining patient confidentiality. 🎯 What We’re Looking For • 1–3 years of AR / Denials experience (Healthcare AR preferred)., • Experience working with multiple payors (UnitedHealthcare, Cigna, MVA especially)., • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail., • Positive attitude and ability to work independently while asking questions when needed. 🌟 Why Join Us? • Full Benefits + 401k, • Tuition Repayment Program 🎓, • $50/month in Year 1, • $75/month in Years 2 & 3, • $100/month after 3 years, • Company growth = Career growth opportunities (our leadership team started in AR roles too!), • Potential to transition to hybrid work after conversion (not guaranteed but possible), • Supportive leadership and a collaborative team culture 💡 This is more than just an AR role — it’s the chance to build a career in a company that’s growing every day and values promoting from within.
