Job Description ✈️ Aircraft Assembly Technician If interested and qualified, text Caroline at 843/972/1883 Job Summary We are seeking experienced Aircraft Assembly Technicians to perform routine production assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies, sub‑assemblies, aircraft systems, and equipment. This role involves hands‑on manual and automated assembly tasks in a fast‑paced aerospace manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity to get your foot in the door with a highly reputable, industry‑leading aerospace company known for innovation, quality, and global impact. 🔧 Key Responsibilities • Perform routine production assembly operations on structural components, mechanical assemblies, sub‑assemblies, and aircraft systems using manual and automated tools., • Demonstrate and promote a culture of One Team, Pride, and Ownership., • Collaborate with Integrated Build Teams (IBTs) and Team Leaders to reduce performance risks using Systematic Problem Solving (SPS) methodologies., • Proactively identify production constraints and escalate unresolved issues through clear communication., • Apply KPI and BPS principles to enhance workflow efficiency and the overall work environment., • Support overtime requirements to meet customer and production commitments., • Participate in Lean Manufacturing Systems (LMS) and 5S initiatives., • Support cross‑training, mentoring, and continuous team improvement efforts.📌 Essential Skills & Experience, • Experience performing aircraft assembly tasks such as drilling, shimming, reworking, and riveting., • Proficiency in riveting, including the use of rivet guns and related tools., • Familiarity with aircraft interiors (seats, lavatories, galleys)., • Background in aircraft maintenance or repair; A&P license preferred., • Experience in sanding, painting, laminating, and sealing., • Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience., • Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and specifications in English., • Comfortable using common software applications including email, internet navigation, and the Microsoft Suite.➕ Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Preferred: 1 year of aerospace experience. This is a Contract position based out of NORTH CHARLESTON, SC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
