Job Description We are seeking a Project Manager with experience in structural steel to join our team! You will oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation of exciting and many high-profile projects throughout North America! This is an office position (Monday - Friday) with some travel to job sites as necessary. Responsibilities: • Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation, • Allocate resources for assigned projects and ensure they are used effectively and efficiently, • Provide guidance to onsite personnel and subcontractors, • Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, regulatory agencies, and clients, • Negotiate with vendors to ensure reasonable order costs, • Promote safe and healthy work practices to mitigate risks on project sites, • Invoice suppliers and authorize payments to subcontractors and vendors, • Coordinate fabrication activities with shop superintendents, • Arrange and schedule shipments, • Previous project management experience within structural steel, 2-3 years preferred;, • Experience managing projects without compromising safety or quality;, • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management; Engineering; Business or related field preferred;, • Familiarity with construction management software;, • Strong leadership and negotiation skills;, • Deadline and detail-oriented to meet schedule;Company DescriptionWith a history dating back to 1953, North Alabama Fabricating Company, Inc.
