High Point offers a vibrant North Carolina community with access to parks, shopping, dining, and more—making it a prime location for travel nursing jobs. • Location: High Point, NC 27262 (North Carolina nursing jobs), • Unit: 6 South Neuro-Telemetry (36 beds, ADC = 35), • Assignment Length: 13 weeks (09/22/2025 – 12/20/2025), • Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 36 hours/week, • Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week, • Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend, • Holiday Expectations: Work 75% of holidays during assignment, • Scrub Color: Royal Blue, • Free Parking Available, • Estimated Weekly Salary: $1570 - $1680, • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or compact state, • At least 1 year of recent Progressive Care Unit or intermediate care experience (no first-time travelers), • BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required, • Skilled in telemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretation, • Experience administering and titrating hemodynamic drips (Cardizem, Heparin, Insulin, Neo, Nitro, Amio), • Ability to detect and escalate neurological changes, • Familiarity with EMR systems (Encompass/EPIC preferred), • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with stroke, heart failure, TIA, sepsis, syncope, AKI, chest pain, and other intermediate diagnoses, • Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms, collaborating with cardiac surveillance teams, • Administer and titrate hemodynamic drips according to hospital protocol, • Conduct neurological assessments and respond promptly to changes, • Work closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team including CNAs, charge nurses, phlebotomists, respiratory therapists, and hospitalists, • Accurately document patient care in EMR systems, • Float to sister units (CTU) as needed, maintaining consistent patient ratios Planet Healthcare Job ID #398803.
