Manager of Operations Support - APS Mobilizations ABM Performance Solutions (APS) is ABM's self-delivered operational platform which incorporates all of ABM's offerings into one consolidated service model. The Manager of Operations Support - APS Mobilizations role is responsible for the tactical delivery of managing workstreams, deliverables and tasks detailed in the APS Mobilization template used to launch all new APS client contracts. The role will provide subject-matter expertise to ensure adherence to ABM standards and industry best practices, driving compliance and offering clear guidance to operations teams and mobilization colleagues in support of the new contract and client. The Manager is expected to be a continuous learner who actively monitors industry trends, ABM processes changes, evolving client needs, and operational performance. The Manager of Operations Support - APS Mobilizations reports to the Senior Manager of Operations – APS Mobilization Support and works closely with the APS Platform Team and APS Portfolio Leads. This role is responsible for setting up and executing the APS service delivery model for new client contracts (from Letter of Intent or signed contract) through stabilization and ongoing operations in collaboration with the Client Experience and Ops Support Program Manager. Travel regularly (up to 75%) to support mobilization oversight, assessments, and operational leadership needs. Pay: $103,000 - $130,000 The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data. For information about ABM's benefits, visit ABM Employee Benefits | Staff & Management Responsibilities • Partner with APS Platform Leadership, Portfolio Leads, and cross-functional stakeholders (Procurement, Safety, Finance, HR, Technology) to ensure seamless, strategic mobilization execution across all new contracts., • Direct the implementation of APS operational standards, processes, and service delivery frameworks for all new client engagements., • Lead and influence Continuous Improvement initiatives to enhance client outcomes, operational efficiency, workforce readiness, and financial performance., • Collaborate with Business Development, Deal Desk, and Pricing teams to shape operational solutioning, new business proposals, and resource strategies., • Serve as an APS operations subject matter expert, providing authoritative guidance and developing enterprise-wide improvement strategies., • Lead and oversee all mobilization workstreams to ensure deliverables, timelines, staffing plans, and operational readiness requirements are met., • Direct cross-functional mobilization teams, ensuring alignment of people, processes, and systems during client onboarding and operational start-up., • Provide high-level operational interpretation of contracts, scopes of work, and service-level expectations to ensure proper execution., • Lead the strategic deployment and governance of CMMS platforms (Corrigo, Maximo, Brightly, Plant Log, etc.) across APS Industry Groups., • Oversee the accuracy and integrity of CMMS data, asset hierarchies, and operational metadata., • Direct the development of Preventative Maintenance programs, SOPs, inspections, and JHAs., • Provide leadership during asset inventories, validation, and tagging to ensure accurate asset registers., • Govern CMMS reporting structures, KPI dashboards, SLA reporting, and analytics., • Drive continuous improvement of CMMS utilization and adoption across APS operations., • Provide strategic operational expertise across Hard Services (HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, engineering) and Soft Services (janitorial, MAC, mailroom, landscaping, waste management)., • Ensure alignment of all mobilized service delivery models with ABM IFS standards, client expectations, and best practices., • Oversee vendor and subcontractor onboarding and ensure compliance with contractual and ABM standards., • Monitor vendor performance and support corrective action planning when required., • Lead the development and governance of quality processes and operational standards., • Oversee SLA/KPI monitoring and reporting to ensure compliance with client and organizational expectations., • Provide strategic input into proposals, operational modeling, staffing, and cost structure development for new business., • Partner with Talent Acquisition and HR to ensure timely recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training for mobilization needs., • Oversee workforce readiness processes such as time clock configuration, payroll setup, and compliance documentation., • Ensure employees receive required operational, CMMS, and safety training., • Provide oversight for the deployment of ABM safety programs at new and transitioning accounts., • Ensure safety documentation, training, hazard assessments, and compliance measures are executed effectively., • Lead or support site safety audits and corrective action plans., • Collaborate with APS leadership, cross-functional teams, and client-facing partners to ensure mobilization success., • Represent APS in internal and client meetings, presenting updates on readiness, CMMS, performance, and improvement opportunities., • Associate's degree in a related engineering field, former apprenticeship program, or technical trade school, • Minimum of 5 years in Facility Service or Building Management (Portfolio/Multi-Site Contract Management preferred), • Minimum of 2 years of experience leading large, multi-disciplined functional teams, • Demonstrated knowledge of Integrated Facilities Management Operations, • Industry association certification such as CFMP, FMP or equivalent preferred About Us ABM (NYSE: ABM) is one of the world's largest providers of integrated facility, engineering, and infrastructure solutions.
