Questions you might have What will I do? • Operate and optimize high-speed can-making equipment, performing interventions and changeovers as needed., • Diagnose issues and complete on-the-spot mechanical maintenance and repairs., • Execute daily and department safety checks—identify hazards and correct them promptly., • Carry out quality checks and complete all required documentation to meet customer expectations., • Complete daily maintenance, PM/PPM work orders, and respond to equipment breakdowns., • Assist Advanced Operator Technicians with installs, replacements, and mechanical improvements., • Drive Continuous Improvement/Operational Excellence activities and sustain gains., • Support inventory management processes and accurate transactions., • Operate a forklift and handle material movements when assigned., • Process hold material (sorting and inspection) in a timely manner., • Receive, store, and manage inventory of process chemicals used in metal food packaging., • Maintain housekeeping and 5S in assigned areas., • Adhere to Food Safety Policy, GMPs, HACCP principles, and Food Safety Standards., • Handle other duties as assigned. What experience helps me succeed?, • Clear English communication—written and verbal., • Computer literacy sufficient to perform inventory transactions., • Proof of living our Core Values: Passion, Teamwork, and Excellence., • Commitment to the company Code of Conduct., • Lean manufacturing familiarity and hands-on troubleshooting/preventive maintenance experience., • High School Diploma or GED., • Minimum 2 years in a manufacturing environment (required)., • Forklift/material handling experience preferred., • Regularly: stand, walk, use hands (finger/handle/grip/pull/feel), and talk/hear., • Frequently: reach with hands/arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, including in confined spaces., • Use computers and electronic screens as part of the role., • Lift: occasionally up to 75 lbs; frequently 1–50 lbs; no continual lifting., • Vision: close and distance vision plus color recognition; solid hand–eye coordination., • Work on, in, and around conveyors and high-speed mechanical equipment within manufacturing and warehouse spaces. What hours will I work?, • Average hours per week: 40 or 36/48 alternating., • Usual shifts: 8 or 12 hours., • Willingness to work rotating or permanent schedules (day/night), weekends, and holidays.
