Job Description Job Functions: The Material Planner/buyer is responsible for ensuring raw materials, components and subassemblies are delivered to the manufacturing floor to support production needs, at optimal efficiency. This individual must fully understand supply chain and production operations, as well as be knowledgeable on their assigned product or commodities. The Material Planner/Buyer will also be responsible for procuring certain commodities and parts. The successful candidate will need to be extremely resourceful and be self-reliant. The Material Planner/Buyer will deploy inventory strategies, be responsible for product change and associated material planning implications, manage and solve exceptions, and drive supplier execution. This role involves daily management of supply and constraints, status reporting and escalation, supplier engagement and the relentless pursuit of operational excellence and continuous improvement. Provide data-driven decision support to the broader organization through what-if and scenario planning (as examples). * Apply analytics and supply chain expertise to manage system parameters and meet target inventory and service level goals while minimizing costs and obsolescence. * Build and maintain operational partnerships with assigned suppliers. Act as the primary interface with suppliers on delivery status, issues, and resolution. (i.e: workbench/Buysheet/Buycard…etc) * Running and maintaining shortage reports based on high priority Sales Orders. Obtaining the high priority Sales Orders from Customer Service and/or Production Planning. Giving direction to buyers on high priority shortages. * Maintaining open PO report for buyers, prioritization and follow up with buyers based on top models. * Develop and maintain a tool for future planning on parts shortages. * Periodic review of SLOB inventory. Being the SLOB inventory champion in the Purchasing Team and work with Engineering to reduce this inventory * All other duties as assigned Skills/Qualifications: * High Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced) * Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP with a solid understand of discrete manufacturing, bills of material, product lifecycle management, procure to pay processes and supply chain operations. * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ground Support Equipment Technician Reno, Nevada Salary rate: $30.00 - $35.00/hourly DOE Position Summary Tactical Air is currently seeking an Aircraft Mechanic to join our Maintenance team. This position will support Tactical Air's fleet of fighter aircraft with over 75 years of combined experience in tactical aviation maintenance and more than 30 years of military adversary contract maintenance. The Maintenance staff are a dedicated team comprised of experienced, A&P-certified, and tactical aircraft mechanics, technicians, and logisticians who all work towards ensuring safe and seamless ground maintenance operations. Responsibilities The ideal candidate for the Ground Support Technician position will have a background in auto mechanics, hydraulics, pneudraulics, be organized, highly productive, disciplined, team-oriented, technically astute, and responsive to the needs of the company, colleagues, and customers. This position will report to the Facilities Manager and will perform equipment and facilities maintenance to include inspection, operational test, repair, modification, and troubleshooting on all assigned equipment and components. This position will apply advanced technical knowledge to solve complex problems and to provide technical assistance, guidance, and instruction as needed.
