THE WORK • Use precision measuring instruments and gages such as feeler gages, dial indicators, micrometers, calipers, etc., • Evaluate the repair work performed within our facility or sent to outside sources for completeness and compliance to technical data., • Follow procedures found in component maintenance manuals, service bulletins, ORI's, OREI's, drawings, check sheets, etc., • Review and interpret related paperwork to ensure proper identification of parts, operational sequence and recorded information on appropriate documentation., • Interpret documentation received with incoming cores to determine adequate traceability and history., • Research compliance requirements of components in work using AD's, ASB's, and other technical data., • Must know where to find technical data such as operation sheets, manuals, ASB's, ORI's, OREI's and blueprints., • Must be competent in the use of torque wrenches and have a complete understanding of SAC torque specification SS9300., • Filing and archiving of records, • Adhere to all EH&S requirements, FAA & EASA regulations, company rules, policies, procedures and corporate initiatives., • Tag and report to TPM Manager any equipment that is unsafe or requires maintenance., • Segregate hazardous waste material and follow good housekeeping practices. Basic Qualifications: FAA Airframe and Powerplant License High‑school diploma or equivalent Minimum 2 years of inspection/quality‑control experience on aerospace components or a related field. Competent in performing evaluation, final, receiving, preliminary, and in‑process inspections on a variety of components. Skilled at evaluating repair work for completeness and compliance to technical data.
