Position Overview The Warehouse Logistics Manager is a mid-level, hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing warehouse, shipping, and receiving operations at Bridor’s Bridgeport facility. This position ensures the accurate flow of materials, maintains inventory integrity in SAP ERP, and supports continuous improvement across warehouse functions. A key component of this role includes managing outbound logistics and arranging full truckload shipments to multiple destinations, including our facility in Vineland, NJ, as well as coordinating cross-border transportation into Canada. This includes full responsibility for ensuring proper documentation, carrier coordination, and regulatory compliance. You’ll lead a seven-member warehouse team that is mostly Spanish-speaking only, requiring strong bilingual communication skills for effective leadership and training. This position works on-site daily and collaborates closely with production, quality, and transportation partners. Key Responsibilities • Lead, train, and support a 7-person warehouse team that is primarily Spanish-speaking, • Manage daily shipping and receiving operations to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance, • Coordinate outbound logistics for full truckloads going to Vineland, NJ, Canada, and other destinations, ensuring accurate scheduling, load preparation, and documentation compliance, • Prepare and manage customs and export documentation for cross-border shipments to Canada, • Plan labor needs, manage scheduling and overtime, and support employee development, • Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement, • Oversee inventory control and reconciliation using SAP ERP and warehouse management tools, • Ensure documentation accuracy (bills of lading, shipping notices, pick lists, packing slips, export paperwork), • Maintain organization of dry, cooler, and freezer storage areas, • Ensure compliance with GMP, OSHA, AIB, and HACCP standards, • Maintain forklift certification records and equipment maintenance logs, • Participate on the Food Safety Team and support ongoing audit readiness, • Develop and update SOPs and support process improvements, • Track and report key KPIs such as order accuracy, inventory performance, logistics efficiency, and safety metrics Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field is a plus but not required, • 3–5 years of supervisory experience in warehouse or shipping/receiving operations, ideally within food manufacturing, • Hands-on leadership approach required — this is not a senior executive or corporate logistics role, • Experience with outbound freight, cross-border shipments, and multi-destination truckload coordination strongly preferred, • Working knowledge of SAP ERP and warehouse management systems (WMS), • Strong organizational and communication skills with proven ability to lead day-to-day operations, • Knowledge of regulatory standards including GMP, HACCP, and OSHA, • Spanish/English bilingual required — the warehouse team is predominantly Spanish-speaking, and effective leadership depends on strong bilingual fluency, • Candidates must be local or able to commute daily; this is an on-site role and relocation assistance is not provided Why Join Bridor At Bridor, you’ll be part of a company that values people, precision, and passion for quality.
