Position Summary The Shipping Associate is a key member of the Distribution team and will collaborate in the maintenance of stock levels, auditing, and record-keeping of the Kitchen Brains Distribution Department. You will also collaborate with various sides of the department such as receiving and shipping. The Shipping Associate will report to the Warehouse & Inventory Supervisor. Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Assist in daily cycle counts of raw material, semi-finished, and finished product when required., • Assist in the management of Kitchen Brains inventory, including shipping/receiving & production supplies., • Operation of stand - up & sit - down forklift (training & certification will be supplied)., • Ensure the accuracy of all production work orders prior to delivering to the production floor., • Assist with all Shipping, Receiving, and Inventory organization within Operations., • Store all incoming material from production in its proper storage location., • Pack all materials that are shipping out following the appropriate packaging process sheet located on the network., • Pack material that is required for shipment ahead of schedule whenever possible., • Process incoming & outgoing orders through ERP system – (generate shippers/packing slips & additional required documentation for orders)., • Ensure that all shipments are labeled correctly before leaving the facility., • Assist in other areas when required., • Maintain cleanliness of all material storage areas., • Maintain a safe working environment., • Will be cross-trained to work in pre-packing and receiving., • Other duties as assigned. Preferred Experience & Skills • Experience in Shipping and Receiving, • Experience in the proper storage and rotation (FIFO) of electronic materials, • Knowledge of UPS, FedEX, and Common Carrier, • Basic computer literacy & MS Office experience (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook), • ERP experience preferred, • Understanding of material handling, • Basic math skills, • Independent self-starter, • High School Diploma or equivalency, • Ability to lift, carry, push or pull medium weight, up to 60lbs., • Ability to ensure prolonged sitting, standing, bending, squatting, climbing and reaching Kitchen Brains is an Equal Opportunity Employer
