Job DescriptionJob Title: Toolroom TechnicianJob Description We are seeking a skilled Tool & Die Maker/Mold Maker or Class A Machinist to join our team on the 1st shift (Monday to Friday, 6 AM to 2 PM). This role is crucial in supporting the automotive and medical fields by manufacturing specific products using aluminum and rubber. The ideal candidate should be able to service and troubleshoot molds and dies, and have experience working in a machine shop or job shop. Responsibilities • Read and interpret blueprints to fabricate parts accordingly., • Operate all machine shop equipment, including mills, lathes, grinders, and other shop equipment such as Manual Bridgeport, Trak CNC Mill, Ez Trak Mills, and surface grinders., • Service and repair progressive high-speed stamping dies., • Service and repair high cavitation plastic injection molds., • Work unsupervised to a tolerance of .0001”., • Set up and troubleshoot molds and dies, including Schaal high-speed stamping presses and Sumitomo plastic mold injection machines., • Install, set up, and remove dies for rubber operations to meet correct part specifications., • Dismantle and reassemble molds and dies to ensure proper working condition., • Sharpen and chamfer dies., • Maintain required records for inspections, testing, maintenance, and repairs of all molds and dies., • Troubleshoot trimmer/die problems., • Perform troubleshooting, installation, and upkeep of tooling equipment and machinery, making adjustments and changes to maintain quality and efficiency.Essential Skills, • Tool and die making experience., • Experience with tooling, mold, die repair, and injection molding., • Proficiency in operating CNC mills and lathes., • Experience in plastic injection and plastics injection molding., • Ability to troubleshoot machinery., • Blueprint reading and repair skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • High School or GED equivalent required., • 5+ years of experience in a machine shop role., • Ability to speak, read, and write English to understand operating and other related procedures. union benefits are excellent - will join union after 60 days ($25 initiation & 2.25% on base rate) Due to union pay rates are set - raises over time per union. - medical $30/wk -1 person ($300 deductible) - if you have medical & dental you get vision for free 401K company contribution weekly pay & stay hourly (not salaried) good amount of OT growth opportunity Workplace Type This is a fully onsite position in Cherry Hill,NJ.
