Compensation: $65,000 - $75,000 yearly Responsibilities: • Verify there are no real estate title defects or title issues such as liens, wills, claims, deeds, mortgages, or fraud once property search is complete, • Prepare closing statements after reviewing all closing documents to ensure all title commitments have been met, issue title policy, and transfer title to the new owner, • Conduct title search to prepare a title abstract and title opinion, • Present deed to new owners after recording all legal documents at the county and federal level As a Senior Title Closer, you will serve as the final authority ensuring every transaction closes accurately, compliantly, and on time. You will: • Manage full-cycle residential and commercial closings from intake through final title policy, • Review, prepare, and approve settlement statements, closing packages, and loan documents, • Clear title requirements and resolve complex title issues, liens, and defects, • Coordinate funding approvals and execute precise disbursement of funds, • Ensure proper recording of legal documents at the county and federal levels, • Issue final title policies once commitments are satisfied, • Analyze title searches for liens, judgments, fraud risks, and title defects, • Review surveys, legal descriptions, plats, and public records for accuracy, • Maintain strong communication with realtors, lenders, attorneys, escrow officers, and clients, • Work closely with processors to ensure efficiency and accountability across files, • Prepare title abstracts and title opinions when required Qualifications: Non-Negotiable Requirements • Active Florida Title Agent License (Required), • Ability to work in person at our Hollywood, FL office, • 5+ years of advanced title closing experience, • Experience managing 30–40+ files per month independently, • Experience working closely with title processors (including remote processors), • Proficiency with title software (Qualia strongly preferred), • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, • Calm, solutions-oriented mindset in a deadline-driven environment Preferred Qualifications • Bilingual English / Spanish strongly preferred, • Background in title examination or abstracting, • Experience with commercial transactions, • Ability to mentor or guide team members when needed, • Additional languages such as Italian, Portuguese, or French are a plus The ideal candidate is: • Process-driven and highly organized, • Analytical with strong attention to detail, • A confident decision-maker who takes ownership of files, • Comfortable working in a fast-paced closing environment, • Professional and client-focused, • Committed to accuracy, compliance, and efficiencyAbout Company The Closers Title Insurance Agency is a full-service Closing and Escrow Company, taking clients from contract negotiations to keys!
