Infucare RX is seeking an experienced Pharmacist in Charge to join our team in Glendale area. As a Pharmacist in Charge, you play a key role in home infusion and specialty pharmacy operations. This position oversees pharmacy services, ensures regulatory and quality compliance, and supports safe, accurate patient care. You’ll collaborate with insurance partners, internal teams, distributors, healthcare providers, and patients to ensure exceptional service. Under indirect supervision, this role manages all aspects of pharmacy operations, including patient services, administration, and staff leadership. The Pharmacist in Charge uses clinical expertise and sound judgment to resolve challenges, maintain compliance, and support organizational goals. Job Responsibilities: • Lead and supervise pharmacy staff to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient operations, • Direct all pharmacy activities, including drug preparation, sterile compounding, dispensing, and clinical pharmacy services, • Collaborate with the General Manager to support daily pharmacy operations, • Participate in procurement of medications, supplies, and equipment, • Perform clinical pharmacist duties as needed, • Obtain and maintain out-of-state licenses as required, • Maintain current knowledge of pharmacotherapy and IV therapy through continuing education, • Provide support for marketing and clinical initiatives as needed, • Oversee pharmacy QA activities and compliance programs, • Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and training of pharmacy personnel, • Conduct annual performance reviews and staff development planning, • Attend and contribute to management, departmental, and inter-departmental meetings, • Prepare and submit operational reports as required, • Assist with pharmacy budget planning and financial objectives, • Support achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual performance goals, • Participate in an on-call rotation and provide coverage as needed, • Maintain Schedule II perpetual inventory, • Mentor pharmacy students and support pharmacy education rotations, • Foster professional relationships with patients, vendors, and internal teams, • Complete special projects as assigned, • Maintain active state pharmacy licensure Required Qualifications • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (RPh) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited college of pharmacy, • Active pharmacist license in the state of employment, • Minimum of 2 years of pharmacy operations and clinical experience in home infusion, specialty injectables, or related fields, • Strong knowledge of IV admixture, sterile compounding, and home infusion clinical practices, • Supervisory or management experience within a pharmacy setting, • Strong verbal and written communication skills, • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment, • Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving abilities, • Reliable and consistent in attendance and performance Confidentiality and Compliance: • Always maintain confidentiality of patient and proprietary information., • Observe legal and ethical guidelines for safeguarding the confidentiality of patient and proprietary information., • Understand and comply with HIPAA rules and regulations., • For all activities, comply with accreditation, legal, regulatory, government and safety requirements.
