Job Description Essential Duties: * Strong familiarity with and knowledge of the PA Academic Standards * Develop engaging online learning content * Demonstrate use of media and techniques live and in video recordings * Record original instructional videos and content for tech courses * Assess and provide timely feedback on student work * Interact with students and families through course or school-related sharing of information * Deliver whole-group and small group instruction during live, synchronous virtual class sessions * Hold office hours daily * Contribute to IEP input for special education students and attend IEP meetings * Perform other miscellaneous professional responsibilities as assigned by the Principal, Assistant Principal, Department Chair, Supervisor of Curriculum, and Data Specialist * Proctor standardized testing. Limited overnight travel may be required during the testing period (1-2 times per academic year) * Collaborate with colleagues in Professional Learning Communities Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: * The ability to integrate technology into the curriculum and instruction * Must have excellent technical, interpersonal and communication skills * Demonstrated ability to follow established policies and procedures * Passion for utilizing educational technologies as a tool to increase student learning * Embrace opportunities to adapt and problem solve in a unique educational environment * Enthusiasm for taking on a leadership role within our school community * Able to collaborate effectively with other team members * Excellent team player, including reliability in working independently Requirements • PA Certification in the content area of interest, • Up to date current clearances: Child Abuse Clearance, PA State Criminal Background Check, FBI Fingerprinting check, • Coursework in African American Studies is a plus but not required
