We are seeking an experienced and motivated Practice Manager to oversee clinic operations and support continued growth and innovation – particularly in value‑based care initiatives and ACO participation. Position Overview The Practice Manager directs the daily operations of the clinic, ensuring efficient workflows, regulatory compliance, high‑quality patient experience, and strong financial performance. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of both fee‑for‑service and value‑based care environments. Key ResponsibilitiesOperations & Administration • Oversee scheduling, staffing, workflow management, and general clinic operations., • Develop, update, and enforce clinic policies, procedures, and operational standards., • Ensure full regulatory compliance (HIPAA, OSHA, CMS, TMB)., • Manage vendor contracts, supply chain, and facility maintenance. Financial Management, • Oversee budgeting, financial reporting, and expense controls., • Liaise with the revenue cycle team to maximize operations, including billing, coding, charge review, collections, and monitoring AR performance., • Track and report practice KPIs, including productivity, visit volume, and denial rates. Human Resources & Leadership, • Recruit, hire, and onboard new staff members., • Provide ongoing staff coaching, training, and performance evaluations., • Oversee payroll coordination, work schedules, and timekeeping accuracy.Patient Experience & Quality, • Maintain a positive, efficient patient flow and exceptional customer service standards., • Track patient satisfaction and patient‑reported issues; implement improvements., • Support quality improvement initiatives and care coordination.Technology & Systems, • Oversee EMR/EHR usage, templates, and workflow optimization., • Coordinate training and technical support for staff., • Maintain data security, documentation accuracy, and efficient digital workflows.Accountable Care Organization (ACO) Responsibilities, • Monitor and report ACO performance metrics, including quality measures, risk scores, total cost of care, and patient attribution., • Maintain dashboards and analytics reports for leadership, providers, and staff., • Lead efforts to improve ACO quality measures such as preventive screenings, chronic disease management, and patient engagement., • Oversee care-gap closure workflows and ensure timely outreach/follow-up., • Coordinate with ACO partners, network representatives, and payor partners on reporting deadlines, education, and performance updates., • Provide regular performance feedback to clinicians and staff through meetings, dashboards, and training sessions., • Develop and implement staff/provider training on ACO processes, documentation requirements, and best practices for value-based care., • Ensure compliance with ACO program requirements under CMS and/or commercial payor models.Required Qualifications, • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field (appropriate experience may be substituted for educational requirements)., • Minimum 3 years' experience in medical practice management (Internal Medicine or primary care preferred)., • Strong understanding of revenue cycle, medical billing, and insurance processes., • Experience with ACOs, value-based care, or population health strongly preferred., • Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience supervising clinic teams., • Proficiency with EHR systems and data-driven performance management., • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Compensation & Benefits, • Competitive salary ($90,000-$120,000) based on experience., • Performance-based bonuses., • Health, dental, and vision insurance options., • Paid time off, holidays, and continuing education opportunities.
