DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • Contribute to the development and successful launch of our new products, • Adhere to all GMP/GLP requirements, • Create and implement effective direct sales objectives and lead nationwide sales goals, • Provide leadership through effective communication of vision, while comparing sales results to goals and taking appropriate action to correct when necessary., • Provide sales budget and forecast management., • Manage to meet/exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts., • Provide supervision through retail field visits, observations, and measurement of results., • Proactively identify changes in retail delivery systems, and competitive pressures to develop and modify strategies and tactics accordingly., • Maintain competitive knowledge to create and adjust sales strategies., • Partner with distributors, brokers, and buyers - Corporate and Strategic Accounts in the development and maintaining of key customer relationship management., • Assists resellers with contract negotiations, closing the sale, and developing marketing plans for contract accounts., • Category SWOT analysis, IRI trends and develop new methods of attaining re-sellers., • Troubleshoots problems regarding procurement and shipment of products., • Responsible for meeting product profit thresholds by account., • Product-forecasting & coordination with the associated department. 25% Travel Requirements: QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION REQUIRED: • Associates degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field PREFERRED: REQUIRED: • 3+ years of field sales experience required., • Proficient in product demand forecasting, • Excellent oral and written communication skills, • Management Experience, • Proficient in spoken and written English, • Negotiation skills, • Retail knowledge, • 5+ years of CPG sales experience in retail food, drug, and mass, • Advance Retail Math, • Bi-Lingual, • Advanced training in current retail sales techniques, • Persuasive selling WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS Vision: Use vision to read, write, type, operate office, electronic, and manufacturing equipment, and make fine adjustments. Speaking/Hearing: Give and receive information through speaking and hearing. Motor Coordination: Requires hands to operate equipment. Lift/Carry: Regularly lift, push, and move up to 50lbs. Environment: Office and warehouse environments may be dust, contain sharp edges, include areas that are not well lit, the floor may be uneven or cracked, and the facility may be subject to variations in temperature.
