Job Description The host is a friendly and energetic team member. The host provides guests with their first and last impressions of Lapez Mod Mex. They are responsible for controlling the flow of the restaurant and for managing the waitlist. Duties and Responsibilities: • Genuinely welcome all guests into the restaurant as they walk in the door, • Responsible for maintaining a presence at the host stand, • Seat guests at tables by following a fair rotation and a floor chart set forth by the Manager on Duty (MOD), • Answering telephone calls and fulfilling those calls as necessary, • Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Lapez and its standards, procedures, products, and services, • Manage the waitlist for the restaurant when necessary.
