Improve As a member of the Quality Inspection Team, an applicant would be responsible for supporting the shipping / receiving Quality Inspectors with day-to-day activities. You would be working in support of unionized hourly inspectors who perform the inspection on all incoming material and shipping of all material. This would be in support of Inspection Team as the Quality Inspection Supervisor. The Operations and Supplier Quality team works to ensure quality standards are maintained on the built and supplied hardware used in our Products. Receiving and Shipping inspection plays an important role in this process by providing quality validation of material flowing into and out of our Raytheon facility. This is a job in a dynamic environment where you will build strong networks and gain competencies with many Raytheon tools and processes. What will you do: \n • The Inspection Supervisor is responsible for The candidate will also be able to conduct the following activities:\n, • Monitor daily operations and schedule/provide directions to Inspectors as required\n, • Oversee, develop, and conduct training of Inspectors in all facets of department operations, procedures, and regulations\n, • Assist inspectors, internal, and external customers with supplied incoming material issues\n, • Evaluate current and projected workload with manning needs\n, • Report, collaborate and advise internal and external customers on inspection requirements / procedures\n, • Maintain Attendance Management System and keep up to date to ensure Raytheon / CBA rules are being followed\n, • Manage Inspection flow, priorities, and metrics\n, • Manage equipment, material, resources, and physical areas used for inspection including, Receiving, Shipping, Mechanical, and Electrical Inspection / Testing\n, • Perform and support audits and continuous improvement projects in the area.\n, • Represent Management in Factory / Staff meetings as required\n\n Qualifications you must have: \n • Typically, a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years' experience\n, • Experience reporting, collaborating, and advising internal and external customers on inspection requirements / procedures\n, • Previous frontline supervision experience of large scale teams, of 40 or more Inspection personnel in a union based manufacturing environment\n, • Experience with Inspection Receiving and Shipping processes of multiple program material\n, • Experience with Shipping and receiving inspection by using MIC's / Blueprints / Drawings\n, • Experience and / or training in problem solving techniques and tools, e.g. RCCA / 5 Whys\n, • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
