Job Description We are a high risk pregnancy doctors office in Las Vegas looking for a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer. Ob/Gyn preferred but not required. We have 4 locations and 9 providers. Essential Functions: • Performs clinical assessment and diagnostic sonography examinations., • Uses cognitive sonographic skills to identify, record, and adapt procedures as appropriate to anatomical, pathological, diagnostic information and images., • Uses independent judgment during the sonographic exam to accurately differentiate between normal and pathologic findings., • Analyzes sonograms, synthesizes sonographic information and medical history and communicates findings to the appropriate physician., • Coordinates work schedule with Sonographer Manager and/or scheduling desk to assure workload coverage., • Assumes responsibility for the safety, mental and physical comfort of patients while they are in the sonographer’s care., • Assists with the daily operations of the sonographic laboratory., • Completes exam billing forms., • Maintains ultrasound equipment and work area, and maintains adequate supplies., • Participates in the maintenance of laboratory accreditation., • Establishes and maintains ethical working relationships and good rapport with all interrelating hospitals, referral or commercial agencies, referring physicians and their staff. Must have a high standard of medical ethics., • Gathers appropriate laboratory results and completes laboratory requests., • Discusses bleeding precautions, pre-term labor, hydration, gestational diabetes, genetic testing and kick count charts with patients., • Performs other work-related duties as assigned., • Performs all requested sonographic examinations as ordered by the attending physician., • Prepares preliminary reports and contacts referring physicians when required, according to established procedures., • Coordinates with other staff to assure appropriate patient care is provided., • Addresses problems of patient care as they arise and makes decisions to appropriately resolve the problems., • Organizes daily work schedule and performs related clerical duties as required., • Assumes responsibility for the safety and well-being of all patients in the sonographic area/department., • Reports equipment failures to the appropriate supervisor or staff member., • Provides in-service education team on requirements of sonographic procedures as requested by other members of the health care team. Job Description THIS POSITION IS 100% ON-SITE IN GERMANTOWN, MARYLAND. This position provides relocation support to the Germantown area. Global Engineering & Technology (GET) is seeking qualified individuals for the position of Nuclear Weapons Subject Matter Expert (SME) in support of the Department of Energy's Office of Classification in Germantown, Maryland. This is a highly compensated, long-term, 100% on-site position at the Department of Energy facility in Germantown, Maryland. This position provides relocation support to the Germantown area. The SME conducts classification review and analysis of government material in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, DOE orders, and DOE Office of Classification procedures for Restricted Data (RD), Formerly Restricted Data (FRD), and National Security Information (NSI) technical areas such as: • Nuclear weapon design, development, testing, production, and deployment, • Weapon science, • Inertial confinement fusion (ICF), • Ballistic missile and/or reentry body/vehicle design, development, testing, production, and deployment, • Special nuclear material (SNM) production technologies such as, but not limited to, isotope separation technologies (atomic vapor laser isotope separation, gaseous diffusion, gas centrifuge, etc.) and nuclear material processing, • Counterintelligence and nuclear intelligence, • Military utilization of nuclear weapons and nuclear weapon effects, • Nuclear nonproliferation (technology and/or safeguards programs), • Radiological weapons and improvised nuclear devices, • Space nuclear reactors and naval nuclear propulsion Salary Range: Compensation for this position will range from $165,000 to $180,000 per year, depending on qualifications. The MLT is responsible for accurately analyzing biological specimens including blood, body fluids, and tissues using established methodologies and instrumentation in compliance with CLIA, CAP, and FDA standards. This role supports diagnostic testing activities, maintains laboratory quality assurance practices, and ensures reliable data for clinicians and researchers. Key Responsibilities Analytical and Technical Duties • Perform routine and specialized diagnostic tests in areas such as Chemistry, Microbiology, Immunology, and Molecular Diagnostics., • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and automated analyzers., • Prepare reagents, controls, and standards according to laboratory protocols., • Ensure proper specimen collection, labeling, handling, and storage procedures., • Verify and document test results, ensuring accuracy, precision, and timeliness., • Adhere to laboratory safety protocols, including infection control, PPE use, and biohazard waste management., • Maintain compliance with CLIA, CAP, OSHA, and HIPAA standards., • Document and report instrument calibration, maintenance, and QC failures to the Laboratory Supervisor., • Enter and verify results in the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)., • Maintain accurate and complete records of tests performed, results obtained, and actions taken., • Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and laboratory staff regarding test results or discrepancies., • Provide support for training new laboratory personnel or interns as directed., • Participate in continuing education to maintain certification and current knowledge of diagnostic techniques.
