Job Description NorthKey Community Care is seeking a full-time Team Leader of Behavioral Health Crisis Services, 2nd Shift. This position will be full-time, on-site, Monday through Friday, 4 pm to 12:30 am, at 502 Farrell Drive, Covington, KY 41011. This position REQUIRES a master's degree and a minimum of a non-independent license in the State of KY. INDEPENDENTLY licensed is preferred. Perks & Pay • Salary: $80,080, • Up to 12% annual bonus, • Flexible schedule, • Family and team-oriented work environment, • Generous plan for paid time off (PTO) (16 days the first year), • 10 Paid Holidays, • Individual and family health insurance, individual life insurance policy, and other insurance plans offered, • HSA with Employer match up to $1000, depending on plan, • 401(k) with employer match, • Company-paid license reimbursement, • In-service training, • Professional liability coverage for clinical staff, • Clinical supervision provided by the companyQUALIFICATIONS, • Minimum of a master’s degree in a mental health discipline and appropriate Kentucky licensure, independent preferred., • Meets the requirements of a Qualified Mental Health Professional., • Ability to work after-hours on-call shifts as scheduled., • Strong team leadership skills with the ability to multitask., • This position requires some travel and reliable personal transportation., • Provide training, oversight, direction, and consultation to staff providing after-hours behavioral health crisis evaluation and intervention services, including mobile crisis responders, 988 call takers, and on-call therapists., • Provide clinical support to team members working in the Crisis Stabilization Unit., • Monitor compliance and performance of 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline requirements., • Monitor compliance of behavioral health crisis team members., • Monitor adherence and documentation of all clients needing emergency crisis services and ensure that clients are connected to the appropriate service and/or assessment in the required time frame., • Ensure 24/7 coverage for mobile crisis assessments and 988 calls., • Assess clients and/or provide therapy, counseling, intervention, and/or education to clients in a professional manner as described in the client treatment plan to achieve identified goals., • Provide clinically appropriate treatment based on mental health assessment and treatment plans., • Complete timely and accurate documentation regarding assessment and therapy., • Provide clinical supervision to assigned staff., • Ensure access to necessary assessments within required time frames for all crisis services, including mobile crisis, crisis stabilization, 202As, and other crisis evaluations., • Maintain compliance with standards of care defined by the Kentucky Department of Medicaid, Department of Aging and Independent Living, Office of the Inspector General, Department of Behavioral Health, and other state entities related to organizational designation as a Community Mental Health Center and Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) by the Commonwealth of Kentucky., • Maintain compliance with standards of care defined by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services related to service line and service delivery., • Maintain compliance with standards of care of the Joint Commission to assure accreditation related to the service line and service delivery., • Ensure compliance with regulations, grants, and program guidelines., • Achieve, promote, and maintain a strong working relationship with other team leaders and related clinical staff., • Achieve, promote, and maintain strong working relationships with community treatment partners, jails, county courts, and law enforcement., • Assist with the implementation of expanded services and work as part of a clinical team to provide expanded services under federally funded grant programs., • Provide current and up-to-date information to the Lead Manager of Mental Health Crisis and Engagement Services., • Perform comprehensive, timely reviews of supervisees to ensure competence., • Achieve and maintain active involvement with various community groups that further the positive image of NorthKey Community Care and the services provided by the organization., • Lead and/or participate in both internal and external workgroups and committees, including Crisis Intervention Training (CIT) Advisory Board and NorthKey Zero Suicide Team., • Maintain operational responsibilities for and the direction of all service delivery of the Behavioral Health Crisis team., • Prepare reports as requested., • Participate in the 3rd shift and weekend supervisory on-call rotation., • Other duties as assigned.RELATION TO ADMINISTRATION, • Adhere responsibly to all NorthKey policies and procedures., • Adhere to confidentiality in all matters regarding client information., • Maximize efficiency and effective use of time in maintaining accurate and punctual time reporting., • Attend internal meetings relating to responsibilities and duties., • Maintain a professional and business-like manner in dealing with all internal staff, Board members, state and governmental staff, sub-contractors, and vendors of NorthKey.
