Minimum Qualifications: - A Bachelor's Degree in Piano or Guitar Performance, or a related field. - A minimum of five years of teaching experience. - Knowledge of The Royal Conservatory of Music Program is a plus. - Versatility in various music styles (classical, jazz, rock, blues, etc.) will be highly regarded. Responsibilities: - Conduct weekly or bi-weekly lessons, integrating music theory and ear trianing in their lessons, fostering a positive and engaging learning environment. - Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that inspire creativity and a love for music. - Build trusting and respectful relationships with both students, students' families, and colleagues. Responsibilities: - Assist in the coordination and execution of all aspects of concert production, including stage setup, soundcheck, and artist support. - Collaborate with the production team to ensure smooth operations during rehearsals and performances. - Help with logistics and coordination of equipment, props, and other necessary materials. - Provide support to artists and performers as needed throughout the festival. - Assist in managing volunteers and coordinating their tasks during the event.
