Position Overview At Saylor, the Senior Producer is the heartbeat of our most complex and high-stakes projects. You are a master of the "how"—translating ambitious creative concepts for clients like Netflix, Disney, and Amazon into executable reality. You aren't just managing a timeline; you are orchestrating a multidisciplinary crew to ensure our work moves culture and builds lasting fandoms. As a Senior member of the production team, you balance high-level strategic oversight with hands-on execution. You are a mentor to junior talent and a key partner to leadership in refining the "Saylor Way" of making work. Location and Salary This is a full-time, exempt role with a salary range of $110,000-$135,000. This person must be LA-based and available to come into the Saylor office in Echo Park on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Responsibilities: High-Stakes Project Leadership • Lead the execution of complex, multi-channel campaigns (Social, Digital, AV, Experiential) from ideation through final delivery., • Anticipate production bottlenecks before they happen and provide creative solutions that keep projects on track without sacrificing craft., • Take accountability for the health of high-profile accounts, ensuring we deliver on time, on budget, and above expectations., • Managing day-to-day communications with the client.Strategic Financial & Resource Management, • Manage large-scale project budgets, ensuring maximum "production value" on screen while protecting agency margins., • Partner with the Head of Production to forecast staffing needs, balancing team capacity with project priorities., • Source and manage external partners, creators, and vendors, negotiating contracts that align with project SOWs., • Oversee rights and clearances for music, talent, and third-party IP in partnership with the Head of Production.Operational Excellence & Workflow Design, • Partner with leadership to design and optimize agency workflows (Asana architecture, asset management, ingest pipelines) to ensure our processes scale as we grow., • Lead the implementation of new production tools and methodologies, ensuring the team is trained and empowered to work efficiently.Mentorship & Team Development, • Manage and mentor Associate Producers and Producers, providing regular feedback, career guidance, and performance reviews., • Manage Multi-Stakeholder Communication: Act as the central hub for information across large-scale client teams (Brand, Legal, Talent, Strategy), ensuring all feedback is consolidated, clear, and actionable for the internal team., • Drive Cross-Functional Consensus: Proactively lead conversations between Account, Strategy, and Creative departments to ensure internal goals align with client business objectives, preventing scope creep and ensuring a unified agency voice., • Solution-Oriented Leadership: skillfully navigate the complexities of global organizations, anticipating approval layers and potential hurdles to keep production momentum moving forward., • Creative Advocacy & Translation: Articulate the strategic value of creative decisions to business-minded stakeholders, bridging the gap between "what looks good" and "what achieves the KPI. Qualifications: • 7–10 years of production experience within a creative agency, ideally with a focus on, • Proven track record of managing complex budgets ($3M+) and multidisciplinary teams., • Deep knowledge of social platforms, content trends, and the technical requirements of modern digital production., • Expertise in project management tools (e.g., Asana, Monday.com, Harvest) and a passion for building efficient systems., • Proficient in spreadsheets and database tools (e.g. Google Sheets, Airtable) to be able to forecast costs, manage resources, and organize complex projects., • At least 2 years of experience managing or mentoring junior-to-mid-level staff., • You are curious, collaborative, and thrive in the fast-paced, ever-changing landscape of entertainment marketing.
