Job DescriptionPro Talent Group, a division of MS-IL Staffing & Packaging, and its local client are NOW HIRING a Route Delivery Specialist in the Indianapolis, Indiana, area! Location: Indianapolis, Indiana (Travel Required) Reports To: Production Supervisor Position OverviewThe Route Delivery Specialist is responsible for supporting both delivery and warehouse operations, with a strong emphasis on providing exceptional customer service. This role consists of approximately 25% delivery duties and 75% warehouse responsibilities, including overnight travel (2–10 nights per month). The ideal candidate will operate non-CDL vehicles, including box trucks up to 26 feet, and may occasionally travel by air to service customer locations. This position requires strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to represent the company professionally in diverse environments, including hospital facilities. Key Responsibilities • Serve as the primary on-site representative of the company, ensuring professional and courteous customer interactions., • Safely transport and deliver goods to customer locations while adhering to delivery schedules and traffic regulations., • Load, secure, and unload shipping totes and materials using pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment., • Verify delivery accuracy by matching items and quantities with warehouse documentation., • Navigate hospital facilities efficiently while complying with all site-specific protocols and requirements., • Assess and resolve delivery or customer service issues, escalating concerns to Operations leadership as needed., • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and basic upkeep of delivery vehicles., • Communicate process deviations or operational concerns to the Operations leadership team., • Support warehouse operations, including inventory handling and general logistics tasks., • Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives within the operations team., • Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external customers., • Work independently in a fast-paced environment requiring extended periods of standing, walking, and bending.QualificationsEducation & Experience, • High school diploma or GED required., • Previous experience as a delivery driver preferred., • Experience working within hospital or healthcare environments is a plus.Skills & Competencies, • Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking) for effective communication with customers and team members., • Strong mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division., • Familiarity with GPS and navigation tools., • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills., • Strong customer service orientation and professional demeanor.Licenses & Certifications, • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record., • Ability to operate non-CDL vehicles, including box trucks up to 26 feet.Physical Requirements, • Ability to lift and move items up to 30 pounds and push or pull heavy racks., • Frequent bending, stooping, standing, and walking for extended periods., • Close vision and the ability to adjust focus as needed for detailed tasks.Work Environment, • Moderate noise levels within climate-controlled warehouse and customer environments., • Exposure to potentially slippery or uneven walking surfaces., • Compliance with company and customer safety policies, including the use of provided personal protective equipment (PPE)., • Regular overnight travel (2–10 nights per month).Compensation and Benefits, • Competitive pay based on experience., • Comprehensive benefits package, including:, • Medical, dental, and vision insurance, • 401(k) with employer match, • Paid time off and holidays
