Job DescriptionJob Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician Job Description Assist with facility maintenance-related projects and tasks across various buildings, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work. Respond to work orders, manage outside vendors, and ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and accurately. Responsibilities • Perform mechanical work such as painting, patching holes in drywall, hanging pictures, whiteboards, or TVs., • Conduct electrical work including changing outlets, switches, and lights., • Carry out plumbing tasks such as fixing leaking sinks or faucets., • Identify HVAC issues and alert appropriate personnel., • Manage and verify the work of outside vendors., • Respond to work orders using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) and log information using an iPad or iPhone.Essential Skills, • 1+ year of facility maintenance experience in multifamily, apartments, hotels, industrial, residential, or commercial settings., • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools., • Ability to perform basic plumbing and electrical repairs., • Familiarity with HVAC systems, including changing filters., • Strong teamwork skills., • Competence in using computers, iPads, or iPhones for work order management.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • 2+ years of facility maintenance experience for Level 2 Technician., • Experience overseeing contractors and ensuring correct work completion., • Exposure to CMMS and automated building controls. Work Environment Work across five properties including manufacturing, office space, and warehouse environments. The company is expanding its facilities, adding 200,000 square feet, and building a more construction-focused team. Shifts include 1st, 2nd, night, and weekend options to accommodate different schedules. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Scottsdale, Arizona. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
