Job Description Classification: Non-exempt The Route Relief Utility Driver supports the Service Departments in its objectives to meet our customers' needs through up-selling, cross-selling, and providing excellent customer service. This position reports directly to the District Manager. You Will: • Deliver products and pick up soiled linens on assigned routes safely and on time., • Provide outstanding customer service to build loyalty and strong relationships, • Communicate with decision-makers and proactively resolve service concerns, • Follow Service SOPs for installations, deliveries, and account management, • Maintain accurate inventories, route books, and customer files, • Handle customer payments, credits, and change orders accurately, • Monitor accounts and report customer feedback or competitive activity, • Upsell services, promote products, and refer leads to Sales, • Conduct daily vehicle inspections and maintain truck cleanliness, • Load/unload products and move carts up to 500 lbs. and lift up to 75 lbs., • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and dress code, • Have and maintain a valid Driver's License, CDL when applicable, and be 21 years or older., • Maintain a driving record free of chargeable accidents, speeding, safety or other violations, • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, comprehend and follow direction., • Two years of relevant experience in sales, customer service, delivery, or public facing work., • Accurately recognize colors and sizes, • Stoop, pull, push, reach overhead, lift up to 75 lbs. and move loaded carts up to 500 lbs., • Daily operation of vehicles on public roads, in and out of customer locations, loading areas of industrial laundry facilities, service centers, or depot., • 401 K Plan with Company Match, • Medical, Dental, Vision, and FSA/HSA, • Life Insurance, Disability Insurance, • Vacation, Sick Time, Holidays For a general description of benefits that are being offered for this position, please visit alsco.com/benefits.
