We have about 25-35 patients in the hospital every day to consult or round and this number will grow. We have ARNP’s to assist. The hospital rounding rotates to the on call dr. …. The group admits 99% of the patients through the hospitalists or PCP’s and our cardiologists only are consulting. After you leave for the eve, usually phone calls only except interventionalist respond to STEMI or cold legs. The volume of this practice is high, the referrals come from over 100 referral sources and there is a very large population of established patients in the group. You will enter a very busy practice. There will be some general cardiology for everyone in the group, but the EP and interventionalists will be an extremely busy with PV and coronary cases.
