Job Description Job Title: Concierge Department: Security Reports To: Chief Security Officer FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Position Summary: The Concierge serves as a key customer service representative and initial point of contact for residents, families, staff, and visitors. This role provides hospitality-driven support, promotes a welcoming environment, and coordinates non-clinical resident needs, enhancing the overall quality of the resident and guest experience at United Hebrew. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Greet residents, families, and visitors with professionalism and warmth., • Answer incoming calls and direct inquiries appropriately., • Coordinate resident non-clinical services such as meal delivery requests, appointment reminders, or activity sign-ups., • Communicate with various departments to facilitate smooth service delivery and respond to resident needs., • Provide facility information, directions, and event updates., • Support administrative tasks such as data entry, document preparation, and logging visitor records., • Assist with admission and discharge coordination, welcome packets, and resident orientation., • Maintain security and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and facility policies., • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred., • Minimum 1 year of customer service, hospitality, or healthcare experience, preferably in a long-term care or senior living environment., • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills., • Proficient in Microsoft Office and general office equipment., • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment with sensitivity to diverse resident needs. Physical Demands: • Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods throughout the shift., • Frequent reaching, bending, twisting, and stooping may be required., • Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds occasionally (e.g., packages, welcome materials)., • Manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment such as phones, computers, and printers., • Work is primarily performed in an indoor, climate-controlled environment., • May be exposed to interruptions, loud noise, or emotionally distressing situations when dealing with resident or family concerns., • Occasional exposure to residents who may have communicable conditions, following standard infection control procedures., • PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) may be required in certain situations.
